Hi everyone , I've been around this forum for ages ,started my first marine tank like a decade ago and decomed due to unforeseen reasons. Long story cut short , early last year I've decided to restart this challenging, mind boggling, interesting and $$ sucking hobby again. Started with a 2f sumpless tank and decided it was not enough so went looking for a suitable tank and found a nice setup it came with a chiller and some kewl stuff. Changed some equipment and ended up with these final setup below, My 25% tank setup Display tank: 3x2x2 cabinet and hood Sump: 2.5x1.5x1.5 Lighting: Reefbreeder photon 24 Water Circulation: Jebao RW15 Return Pump: Atman 4k Chiller: resun 450 Reactor: BM C100 calcium reactor Filtration Skimmer: BM curve 7 Phosban FR Biosphere Algae scrubber/Mangrove

I would go for a 1hp chiller or at least a 1/2hp,

Get them from fishing tackle shop @ changi , beach rd, yishun etc etc .. $2 -$4 for a whole bunch . Just ask for sea worm bait.

Ohh and a very experienced reefer also told me that using frozen saltwater in the bottle will actually last longer then a fresh water ice bottle.

When u add ice to water , the water gets chilled . Why ice in mineral water , so the fresh water don't melt in the tank and lowers salinity. Temporary solution to lower tank temperature. U need to change the ice bottle every 45mins -1hrs maybe less. They melt fast ..

Manufacture defect I think or some design flaw , i have one just like that , needs a push to start , with a bit of luck

Air Bubbles for the skimmer comes from the air tube which take air from the surrounding environment ,so the air comes from the outside of the skimmer and not from inside the skimmer .

Sentosa wa once a great island , prestine empty beach, superb nature wildlife , sea great for fishing and snorkeling, Lps and Sps just off the beach , bring that back and I'll gladly buy it ... If I have the $$$$ that is ...
