watts per gallon ..... 5-10 watts per gallon of water 4x1.5x1.5 = 67 gallons of water ... plus minus rocks = 60 gal roughly 5 watt x60gal = 300watts 1x bulb of any watts MH (depending on height) may not light up whole tank may have dark spots at corners .... maybe yes maybe no but best solution is 2 x 150w which will definitely light up from corner to corner ... this is what i think ..... im no expert but this lights setup would definately suffice for most kind of corals ...

they are those normal electronic ballast ... most electrical or lighting shop should sell ... comes in different watts .... the higher the watts the more expensive ...

it all depends on what kinda sump u want ... u want a refrigerium ..or a trickle system filter .. i suggest u surf thru the internet for sump design .... ull see lots of design for lots of kind of systems ... a normal sump would be of 3 compartment ..... 1st the input where the water comes down from main tank ... some people put coral chips sponge balls etc etc .... 2nd is where the refrigerium is or where u place skimmer . 3rd is for the return pump. as for partition u decide which is best .....

a 4 feet need at least 2x 150w MH .......

u need at least 300 watts of lights ....

cycle your 4 feet tank as per a new tank with new water and lots more liverocks (in sure rocks from your 2 feet tank is not enuff).... read up on cycling new tank if u havn't when cycling is over then transfer your old livestock and rocks into your new 4 feet tank.

might be due to some parasites .. sealice or something .. seen some on my clown clining to the body ... they drop off leaving dark spots on clown... they usually attack at night /lights off .

i just wonder where u heard of this comment . maybe the pipes are made of copper maybe not i dont know coz i have not looked inside the chiller but my tank is well ... alive and kicking . negative comments are not appriciated .. thank u .. but 1 advice is when buying a product if u are indoubt/unsure/notfeeling good about it then dont buy simple as that .

i have the same problem with my 2013 . running with a weipro 4000 . but cant get any skimate at all ... have adjusted water level to black oring lowest to sticker level .. its bubbling well but just that the foam wont form and move up .. been running for bout a month already ...

this chiller is working fine for me ..... excellent actually.. dosnt run that often ... once for 30-45 min every 3-4 hours sometimes dosnt even run at night after lights off.. but my main concern is the design and how it looks in my flat ... its water input and output is at the front of chiller ... placing it beside my tank i have to run the hose pipe from the front to the back of tank making it look disgusting ..whats the use of having a nice cabinet reef tank but have pipes and hoses + wires running from the back making yer flat look like a mess in an aquarium shop. will be looking for new better looking chiller with pipe running from the back or top eg 'the resun 650' which pipe run from the back top of chiller..
