the problem is they have already started to crawl up me liverocks ... onto some starpolyps .. they seem to be ###### the juice out of the mushroom couple of shrooms are dead already ...

i would consider the outlook appearance of a chiller ... heck i would not want a bulky unsightly ugly chiller with pipes running from the front beside my very nice cabinet marine aquarium ... unless u can hide it somewhere .

how do u overkill a chiller? iznt a bigger chiller better .... cools down faster .... switch on less often ...

they are called protein skimmer .... so i guess they skimm protein out of the water ...

they only eat dead fish .... i dont they killed yoru anthias and pbt ... they should have died first before the crabs got to them ...

YES they eat aiptasias .. no wonder tiny aiptasias are growing in my tank coz i killed one the other is missing i think .. not seen it for quite sometime maybe its still in there .... yo seamonkey if u have lots of them do u mind giving me some ... some of them tend to eat zoos also i think ....

please dont kill or throw them can give them to me ... they are less than 1 inch .... had 2 of them in my tank but killed one now the othe is lonely .. need to find a partner for it ...

i think pumps come with those rubber suctions cups .... they should be enuff to counter the vibrations ....

use a pump recomended for the chiller .... do not go below or exceed recomended flow rate ....

leather will shed their outer 'skin' meaning its growing bigger dont worry it will open up when full shed old skin ... anyway u talking bout leather or mushroom or sponge? a bit confused here ...

1. Output from cannister to chiller input. 2. Output from chiller to pump. 3. Pump to main tank. 4. Main tank back to cannister input. the pumps (canister & 1250) maybe of different flow rate ,maybe gonna have a little problem ... safer to use the first idea .

use your imagination laaa ... make the pipe longer right into your sump ...
