The performance for new RO skimmer with their bubble blaster, I am impressed by their performance. U can make a trip down to iwarna to take a look at real thing. Same for deltec, go RD to see yourself and make yr choice. Cheers. -
Equipment for 4ft X 2ft X 2.5ft tank

Yes, 2.5 is good for fishes. If u can increase width to 2.5 or more then u got thr depth to play. 2.5 height seems popular when 400w MH appeared in market. Anyway, nas long as u are happy, can Liao. Deltec, u may wish to go Reefdepot website to see and decide. Whether u want over or under skim but over should be better. For MH, there are other brands, u can go iwarna to look for second hand, very cheap, unlikely above 500. There are integrated type of pre made ligtht like dymax, azonic, DE, giesmann , etc. Ranging from 3 to 4 digits. Usually 2 mh accompanied by 2 or 4 t5 with individual or just one reflector. Hope this help. -

Bro, u may wish to reconsider the height to 2 or less for maintenance and yr lighting reach. Yr chiller should be at least 1/4 to 1/3 hP. Skimmer depends on yr budget. Both brands mentioned are proven. Go for mp40 if u choosing between the 2 as 60 likely overpower. For lighting, 150w may not be enough for yr tank but depends on wat u keep and likely u need T5 supplement for corals. For mh, suggest u look for second hand as usually selling Alot lesser. High depreciation for MH. For basic setup, yr setting is ok. More to play when u coming into serious reefing. Welcome to this hobby. -

Chionged. Found a new way to cycle to pasir ris, less than 15 mins but stray dogs are the issue. Lol -
Can see you are running out of space and the ease of adding frags will tempt you to chiong more and increase more space. Lol.

Bro tian, do post the bubble chamber to show it's performance. For that price, really impressed.

Waltsmith Sps expected to arrive iwarna at 12.30am later. Sps lovers do note. -
Saw peong RO HO skimmer. Impressed by the price. However, if one scare of leak, then go mce600, less joints exposed as everything is internal.
-
Lol. Feather got longer tentacles and usually single layer. Coco worm can have multiple layer of tentacles. . May not be correct. Lol.
-
For skunk, when they are young and small, yes. Once grows bigger and very used to prepared food, not so. Personally, I find fire shrimp much hard working cos they are more shy than skunk and somehow still do the cleaning. Hope this help.

Saw the tank got marker written 25 but doubt that price. Anyway, there 2 type, from Africa one more red and exp but still depend on source. Go there and discuss the price, just call to confirm.
-
Call AM, they should stll have. All the best.
-
Ah beng has them yesterday. FYI.
-
Ensure the seals are tight and air tube not blocked. Wash it and seal all the joints. I even use white to seal the pump and skimmer area to air tight the skimmer and prevent loss.

Agrees, u can't guarantee. To be frank, for my 4 ft set, I used dead rocks but still got aptisia subsequently. Got a rock infested internal and removed it as killing can be achieved cos can't reach. After removing, found some more and got peppermint and copperband. Somehow gone but honestly I don't who helped me to kill them but I used to distruct peppermint cos I tried so many and not many will work. . Until I got this pair from lck and they typically patrol the tank bit now learned to eat pellet etc and my copperband also eating mysis. So some luck might be involved. If you want to ensure no aptisia, yr rock scape should allow u to remove any immediately upon spotted and kill them using kalkwasser, iodine, Joe juice, etc. For my dead rock, I just dumped them without washing. For how long, 2 weeks should be more than enough with hot sun. Worry somemore, pour hot water or hot steam it. No Hard and fast rules. Want it cleaner, rinse and imerse in freshwater.

The other option reef octopus. Can chk with iwarna or other agent carrying reef octopus but deltec is really good bit small collection cup. All the best.
-
Bro, washing is to reduce the stink? If u don't mind, sun it till it turned white is likely to kill everything, moreover u wbemusing using it so soon.

Bro, got to compare same kind. Lol. U are lucky to get stable flame wrasses. I have tried flames wrasse from most lfs except one but to be honest, apart from healthy specimen and water condition, I have managed to keep them for months like 3 to 6 but subsequently died suddenly and sign of dyin almost the same, breathing very fast and just died. Got a reefer friend who was successful in keeping mixed reef and min. Fishes(got tank of the month), his flame also encounter such problem. Thus, I am also not sure what is the reason and conclude to give up deep sea wrasse. Lol. For me, maybe tank overload but for him, should be tip top but still don't know the reason. Not tryin to protect any lfs but think just go to the shop u trusted more and at least u will be happy. Move on if u find better source. Now going big angel and that is challenging for non copper based tank, patience and patience. . At least to me find it more problematic that other fishes. . Lol
-
Agrees. Many factors especially deep sea wrasses. Even can keep them alive, they can die after months. . Though eating well etc. Can't understand the reason but if i ever go into wrasse, got to prepare for this. Cheers.
