Bro, know ppl modified their reef octo skimmer, etc but so far, has not seen or heard another modifying their deltec, H&S, bubble King, etc. Maybe they are expensive or proven performance and technology in their needle wheel pump. Only know ppl modify drainage or sponge filter to reduce bubble from forming.....

Bro AhSiang, U can feed yr anemone with prawn meat and it can be done once a week. However, ensure good water quality and lighting to ensure its health. Just make sure it doesnt move round killing your other corals and end up in any wavermaker(if you have any) to be blended anemone joice....if that happens....RED ALERT.....hehehe

Lucky RD will have agent soon(hopefully it comes true as i know the parts are not easy to come by). High flow rate from the return seems to help in the circulation but one often uses wave maker to supplement. headache....lol

Understand T5 is sufficient but it also depends on the quantity, placement of SPS within yr tank and type of sps. Just imagine a 10 x T5 can easily match a 250W MH vs a 2 X T5. Think ppl shifting away from MH due to heat load and chiller requirement. T5 should rightfull emit less heat than MH. This is my limited opinion. May need correction from snr reefers.

sometime it will be good to let the newly introduced fish settled down in your tank before adding new mate. If not....if there is inch outbreak.....or bioload issue...then will be disaster.....

Bro, if you are not keeping any corals....for inverts....you dont have to careful in choosing yr inverts from LFSs. Shrimp wise....fire & cleaner are recommended. There are many other types....some very small and seems very "fragile"...dancing or sexy shrimp, ghost shrimp...etc.... Do some search and read ups....it will help. Crab, starfish, snail wise....me no experience hence cant advice but as mentioned earlier...if you intend to get coral...better confirm their are reef-safe. U may consider hermit crab over crab....though some crabs are nice and cute.... Suggest u keep a pair of clown rather than only one.... Seldom see ppl commenting inverts adding bio-loads...hence should not be a major concern for yr tank....unless u tell me that you are filling almost 30% of the tank space for inverts.....some inverts are good as in algae and "cleaner" for uneaten food or waste.... Hope u can control yr fish count and coral...hehe....very often...we told ourselves is enough but in the end....we test the limit....Good Luck in your buy and search.
