Don't leave the aiptasia in sump, though they act at vulture eating those leftover that passes them but they are considered as pest and multiple fast, so do it before regret. For most in sump skimmer, it is affected water level. Either u use a good hang on skimmer or change outsump with feed pump

To yr first question, my understanding is dosing volka is not like adding bacts in yr tank. Yr tank must be rather mature to use this. I may be wrong, search the forum, there is a thread on volka dosing. To yr second question, in sump skimmer likely to be affected by water level. If yr skimmer cannot be put else where, suggest u elevate it to a pt where u have greater margin to play. If not, u might have to chge outsump type. Lastly, aiptasia won't go off by placing in the sump, if u want it live, place them in a qt and buy peppermint shrimp to clear, if not, dry it till all dead and wash it. Hope my opinion helps.

think no one carries them any more but iwarna may at time has them...once in the blue moon, i got mine from them.....just keep a lookout but be prepared to fork out 3 digits for one pack or wait for ppl to share. My understanding is the stock runs out fast. Hope this help.

To my understanding, RD and Iwarna have them. If you have seen RD fishes in the display tank, i think this food seems good. The coloration may attribute to good water parameter, etc but seeing their corals vs their fishes.....water parameter might not be the factor to the fishes' colour. One of the fishes that i always see is their potter angel. Those who knows will know the fish was like dying but recovered(not using this pellet yet). After using this pellet, the potter's colour seems to improve, got vibrant and has doubled its size(hopefully is not a new fish). lol. Think worth the try thought the price is not the cheapest.

the G2 170 and 230 are 80cm long. While the rest are 40cm. If getting 2 sets for the shorter series, just nice. For the 80cm one, can't get 2 set but was thinking to buy 2 and make the tank super bright. Lol. This changeable LED seems good. Hopefully kind reefer who owns them can have open hse....lol.

Anyone using the G2 170 vs 230? Wanted to see the effect, a bit moved by the product and may want to give it a try. However, want to know more on the cree led vs the normal LED and difference between the 170 vs the 230 and whether they can support 4ft x 2ft x 2ft and the pentration height as i will be hanging the lightset if using. Agrees with Bro hmkui. Honestly, if the anthias feed on henry gourmet, it doesnt mean they will survive as those shy anthias will lose to those established fishes in your tank and ultimately die off. This happened to my feeding purple queen and barlett(though bold but still lose to my big fishes). Lesson learned, hence clearing my big fishes. Bro hmkui, do update your FTS. hehe.

You may wish to go to reefcentral to find out more details. I believe both will serve your general needs unless you have something more unique which is exclusive to either one. Reaons why i chose Profilux were because of its platform, stability, maintenance cost(parts) and support that i will be receiving. On the superiority, honestly, i think it will be rather bias for ppl to comment unless he or she own both and really give a neutral comment. Hope this aids your research.

Definitely but u must do yr home work to ensure the sump can take the water volume when everything stopped. Hope this help.
