If wat u are getting is the same as mine, then they should be like critters. Think u feeding well for yr fishes and allow them to multiply. Get some wrasses and maybe butterfly. Maybe add in some hermits may have(if they can't, keep them as they are rather cute and keep snails under control).

Bro, my copperband with me for at least 2 mths. Their digestive juice should be very acidic.

Have something similar, got to see to confirm, seems harmless but they wil Multiple fast. Time to get butterfly, I suspected that was the food source for my copperband. Not much left now and my copperband started feeding on mysis.

Hi bro, for the wave box or wave maker, if it is functioning properly, there shldnt be much noise. For full pledge controller, all 4 ports unless u get wavebox which allows u to controll another wave maker or wavebox(I may be wrong) and need to chk on my set. Lol For fishes, they like wave. For lps, not all, example bubbles.

Hi bro, first of all, u must understand wavebox and wavemaker do have some differences. Wavebox causes displacement of water whereas wave maker create one directional current. Those controllable wave makers can be used to create water displacement but your 6055 may be too weak to create havoc in yr tank but gentle waves are there. If u are using 7096 controller, up to 4 Units. Hope this help.

HOB skimmer for 32 gallon IOS tank
Solo77 replied to dulcet's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
True as the spec mentioned supporting 25g. If following spec and space constraint, he might have to consider tunze 9002, etc. Though 9002 can support up 50g , I personally tried and felt BM is more effective on my 24g. For BM nac, he got to chk whether it fits in or not. That is the reason I asked whether he wants over skim or under skim more. -
HOB skimmer for 32 gallon IOS tank
Solo77 replied to dulcet's topic in New to the Marine Aquaria Hobby
I have one 24 jbj nano and had tried tunze 9002 and BM QQ, I would say BM QQ is impressive. Initially wanted to use mce 600 to over-skim my tank but due to some hinge blocking the mounting(unless modify), gave up the idea and proceed with BMQQ. Cheap and good I would say. For yr 32 gallon, u might want consider. Mce 500 is internal, thus if u want to use and cannot put in yr ios, u will have to sacrifice yr tank space. For mce 600, might be possible for you to use but u will likely need to modify to fill nicely(resale value will be affected unless ppl buy yr whole setup), not in yt ios. Actually mce600 has no exposed joints unlike RO, thus leak risk is reduced. Vote BM QQ unless u wan to go for over skimming. -
Bro, a skimmer is not a must but most will recommend. If u are keepin little or no fishes, then u will have very low bio load and can go skimmer-less with regular water chge. A sump is good but not necessary. Bro hammy used to keep a 2ft cube tank without sump and was successful in keeping spses. He uses Deltec mce600 as skimmer. He adopted sandless bed and siphon out waste regular. Therefore, u can consider than. There is always risk in keeping marine and one got to prepare for it. What we can do is to try our best to build in measures but thing still fails at times. If u need tour guide to see see look look setup, can arrange. Lol.
