Hi, if you are gettng a brand new one, you may wish to look at the selling section for second hand deltec skimmer which i think is better. For the prizm, you can buy second hand and the price ranges from 35 to 120.....(came to know one senior had sold for 35...rare chance....lol)... usually is from 70 to 100.... Brand new one should be ard 200 or higher... Do get those with surface skimming type. Better for your tank. All the best.

For FR, if you put say Rowa Phos, it helps to remove PO which will reduce or eliminate algae problem. Some ppl will also put active carbon. I got a 2ft cube tank from a bro here. I am happy with the tank but just find it too small for my fishes....got a 4.5 inche purple tang and my other fishes growing fat...hence i thought of upgrading when i shift out from my parent's place. I am expecting my new flat by end of dec 08, hence started to plan for my new tank. Also, considering to shift my 2 ft cube from current place to my new place.....i think there will be lots effort...hence was thinking to do up a new tank after the renovation and transfer my lifestock over after the new tank is recycled and stablised. So far, i have gotten a ATI light set andDaeil chiller from a snr reefer here(thanks). Also looking for skimmer(considering Deltec AP 701 or 851. Got a 6100 and 6055 with 7095. The rest like ph/orp, ozonizer, UV, etc will try to use my existing equipment if needs be(return pump, etc may have to buy or source again). Started to also stock up LR for deco. Hence, now the trouble is tank. Considering to buy from bro here but got mixed advices from reefers i met. Hence, hoping to get quote and assess the pro and con before making a decision to buy second hand, get a integrator to do for me or DIY by sourcing tank maker, piping and cabinet. Dear experienced reefers, Need your experienced advice in making a tank. Understand some of you will get second hand, from reputable makers like geo aquatic, am, etc or search around for reliable tank maker to custom build one. Apart from geo-aquatic or am, any other reputable tank maker to recommend. Am thinking to setup a 3.5X2X2 with sump of 2.5x1.5x1.8(12 mm thick). For cabinet, was thinking to get my relative who is a carpentor to assist. For piping, may have to diy if not getting any system integrator to do. Hence, also need advice to the place where i can buy special and good pipes or normal pipe from normal hardware store. Those who had made such purchase, will also appreciate your advice on your spending so that i can guage the avg cost and determine what is high and low(subject to quality) Hopefully to get some advice. Hi Bro tjlee, to my limited knowledge, i think the answer to your question is yes. The CO2 is used to melt the media. You might also want to consider to equip the CR setup with pH controller as CO will affect pH of your tank. Pls note for pH controller to control your CO output, your need to have electronic solenoid valve. Alternatively, u can do a manual switch off but u must be vigilant. Also, ppl will add additional chamber to stablise pH. For your reference but do hear from senior here as i might be wrong. Good Day. : )

Also, i am considering a new skimmer for my tank, saw your skimmer and looks very impressive. Prior to seeing your skimmer, was thinking to get Deltec AP 851 or 701. Can pm me the price? Thanks. super water proof glove...not to wat i know one but for car using....there is alcohol based solution that can be applied on windscreen...and when applied...u will see rain droplet just slides aways ....but i heard it is flammable during application process. Doubt ppl us it on glove. By the way, the glove at RD is not re-usable right? Use can throw right....if it is usable and proven totally neutral to water, i dont mind getting one....lol

Bro, me no expert in pairing but managed to pair one. Used to have a pair but the female passed away. Thereafter, paired the male with another smaller clown. Not sure whether there is a real workable procedure but nevertheless, you can buy 2 separate maroon clown. The ratio of their size should be 1 : 2/3. For your info, their sex will change. The bigger one will be female and the smaller one will be male(or the other way....wahahahaha). When i put my pair with another small separate maroon, the small maroon was whacked by the male maroon. The female just ignored them because it was much bigger than both. However, the small maroon being whacked managed to pull through and paired with the male maroon after the female maroon passed away(sad, : (, and the male maroon suffered depression ...lol....lucky i bought one anemoni to cheer him up and got another small maroon to console him...not may have changed to female....after the loving tender care from the small maroon which i believe is male). Now both live in harmony and growing strong. Having said all these, i think what u can do is get one big maroon which is gentle(based on observation) and get one active small maroon. Put them together with plenty of hideout holes. Whether to buy anemoni, i cant advice. From my experience, the "male maroon" after gotten its home at the anemoni, turned super agressive and kept the small maroon away. Only after the anemoni died, they started to pair up. Hopefully they turn into pair. U can try but might not work 100 percent. Anyway, when u buy a pair from LFS or farm, it will cost more and cant guarantee their pair ...living together in harmony and in pair is different. But u can argue once they lived in harmony, they will in no time develop into a pair. Just sharing my personal experience. Now got a maroon white stripe as female and golden stripe maroon(more red) as male. All the best in trying and share your successful experience with us. Thanks.
