  1. For 2ft, if budget can go t5. Especially now ppl go for led....t5 fixture will be cheap for secondhand. For tube, if u keeping lps...6-12 mths to chge tube is fine. 1 tube 24w, 4 tubes less than 100w.
  2. Purple queen is one of the hardest. Sunburst, sunset , etc are shy type and are hard unless tank dont have agressive fish. Barlett, blue eye, etc are almost always ready for pellet.
  3. U may want to find out the clearance space as it seems near to yr water level. If on one extension cord solely for light, should be fine. Best to chk bk with the seller of the lightsets.
  4. When my tank more ready...will come...lol. Few pointers: 1. Multi - socket is generally not approved, hence you seldom see the CE safety logo. 2. Loading is one point, got to look at surge also. 3. Buying equipment, those non 3 pins, may not be designed for sg use and hence risk involved in using. 4. Have those extension cord standby for emergency. 5. For equipment with high risk failure, use elcb socket to minimize main breaker tripping. 6. Warning device... those aquarium controller or isocket or those device for intelligent home setup. Good sharing exp. see you soon.
  5. I may have some sand for dsp. Not much. Can give u if u keen. Collection at punggol. Pm me if interested. Ty.
  6. U got run skimmer, if yes, it will clear slowly and presume u are cycling...then no point adding clarifer...
  7. It will be clear after few hrs.
  8. Soak it with freshwater and leave it for hours to days...they cant survive ..
  9. I have. Can pm me if keen. Ty. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  10. What type of corals, for non sps, 2 units are likely enough. For sps, maybe 3 units. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
  11. On behalf of the clowns, thanks for the compliment. Hehe. Acquired last weekend, possible juvenile orange stripe bristletooth tang. Likely is as the one I bought officially died. This look similar and price at ard 80% lesser. Hopefully the blue and orange colour will intensify.

  13. Yes. So just state your visit maybe looking for clown, zoa, etc.
  14. Had checked with them. Their reply was the farm welcomes reefers to come and stock up. However, they discourage "tour visit" where people just come to see as "eye opening" and not reefing as hobbyist. Reason is for safety. So at times, misunderstanding can happen if the staff may ask reason for visiting and reply maybe just "see see look look". Hope this clear the misunderstandings. Happy reefing.
  15. Has been buying stuff since I started reefing. Still remember my friend who brought me there told me coral farm is ATAS and you get invoice for any purchase. One of the lfses that has separate quarantine room and consistent pricing. Their pricing don't follow demand and stick to their markup policy. If you visit lfses alot, you will.know that some of the pricing are cheapest in town. Certainly hope is a misunderstanding.
  16. Hi bro lorensia, not chio lar compared to yr tank. Need to seek advice for reef tank from you. Lots to learn.
