put the bag in the tank for a while to let the shrimp and fishes "get to know one another"(can also see how your fishes react to them) and allow the water temperature to match. Thereafter, open and allow the tank water to slowly mix with water in the bag. Ensure the shrimp finds a landing spot and where possible, hiding spot. Dont let them parachut down to sand bed....think they will be shocked to death....lol. they are not commandos. : ) All the best. Personal experience and may not be the best method. Please take it as reference.

Just to add, it is not the hardiest coral, depending on the type. Think many reefers have encountered them dying without a reason. Also, their deadiest enemy nudi, snail, spider and zoa pox can spread and wipe out yours zoa. Hence, search the ways to aclimatise and treat them before adding to you main tank. All the best.

Think iwarna still left some US zoas. Small and nice but price is above 10 but below 25 or less. Small colony, you have to visit iwarna. Alternatively, you can go GO and ask them to frag small piece for you. For cheap and big colony, T95 is another option. All the best.

Dead Fish will be hardy. lol. I hope you mean you have already cycled your tank and hope to get some hardy fishes to start off with so as to minimise heavy loss in buying expensive fish. You can start off with some corals and see whether they are doing well....then follow by inverts and then fishes. Just my 2 cents worth advice. All the best.

not an expert in canister filter but base on your writeup, seems like air got into your canister filter. how long did you run it? maybe you monitor it for awhile to wait till it runs in or check all seals and the impellor. you may wish to check on the actual installation and usage for ceramic stuff as improper setup may lead to nitrite/nitrate bomb build up. you may wish to see whether possible to just put the biohome at the rear compartment. so if this is possible, you dont need the canister filter anymore and less problem and save on electrical bill. it is likely to be pods but how long was the tank setup? see whether your mandarin is pecking .....if not...the reason might be your mandarin is not feeding yet.....

Thanks for the reminder and is wary on the load for my current main tank. Had set up another 2ft QT tank(not cube) for this and ensure regular water change.
