I strongly encourage that you really read up first before starting
Its difficult but you can do it with determination and passion
Reefkeeping is not as easy as it seems
Ok I am feeling that I am talking to myself again
Pls pls pls those who view this thread pls post some comments or start a topic to discuss
Anyway, will go LFSing tomorrow to kill time
Probably doing some window shopping
But isn't it better to get aquacultured corals?
Not quite sure about rhodactis but so far the only aquacultured corals I've seen are the SPS
Is there a demand in Singapore in the first place?
Actually this is not a good method to test your water
Its just like feeding yourself untested medicine and see whether it will work.
Pls exercise more patience and I believe that a few more weeks of stabilisation period would not cause extreme pain and suffering to you right?
Guys, was wondering why we do not see aquacultured corals other than zoos and SPS?
I mean, why is no one selling aquacultured acanthastrea, rhodactis or blastomussa?
Pls share your views
Bleached meaning that the coral had started to expel some of its zooxathellae due to stress. Never buy bleached corals unless you are sure that you can nurse it back to health

Operation Remove Sarco is a SUCCESS!!!!
Sarcophyton has only sustained minor injuries and will recuperate in my refugium for the time being
One important tip: Place your skimmer to receive water that comes direct from the oveflow.
It is this water that contains the most DOC and would greatly improve skimmer performance
Still waiting for Anthony Calfo's reply on the sarcophyton (yes, I still contact him)
Best is can remove by this Saturday as it is rainy day and I will not risk being burnt by the MH
Considering the enaly ozone generator but I will need to find a cheap ORP controller or the most run it using a timer and ORP meter
