I'm guessing it's those little dots in the picture but the cells are so small that I can't even see the green tinge in them. The're really visible under 600x magnification though And the pics are from a drop of water mixed with a cap of phyto so I think they're all around the pics as tiny tiny specks (some of them move real fast, like pacman )

Its sad to hear that you need to replace your corals. Hope you take better care of them. Anyway, for SPS reefers, we go to every shipment and buy back lots of stuff because for SPS, we can stick them very close to each other unlike LPS or softies. Most of the almost fully stocked tanks have 100-200 specimens and being SPS reefers, not many tend to buy them for replacement as we take exceptionally good care of the water quality and all

With water coming straight out of the pump to the injector, I think gravity would not play much of a part here

I've cut those from some of my mushies before and they grow into new specimens
