  4. The natural balance has been disrupted. Just that most people do not notice it
  5. Personally I like chaetomorpha as it is stable and grows as fast as caulerpa Other types like ulva should be ok too My skimmer takes away most of the DOC and if there are remaining that decompose to nutrients, the chaeto will take care of that. Of course regular water changes using DI water is also crucial in maintaining low nutrient
  6. Pengz you guys still went for prata? Next time go your place
  7. Haha final stop is at my place and we just stared and stared and forgot about the time
  8. In a way they do. For those who have seen my tank, you guys would have noticed that I do not have unsightly hairy algae in my tank and the glass is clean. That's the work of macroalgae but you need to get one which grows fast and does not crash like chaeto
  9. Go for the Beckett if you do not mind the maintenance and running cost If not, go for a good needlewheel
  10. Haha it's sort of DIYed Anyway, I went visiting tanks all the way till 12am today, that's just the lifestyle of reefers. Midnight already still staring at acros
  11. I don't have shrimps so I think it'll not be a problem Anyone fragging soon? I don't mind helping to clear a few
  12. I am using the Enaly unit and I personally find that the turbidity of the water had decreased tremendously and skimmer would first pull out lots of gunk but slowly decrease after some time. Noticed some SPS grow faster too
  13. With recovery and colouration, it proves that your water conditions are getting good. Keep it up!!!
  14. But I heard the sixline quite aggresive Hopefully my tangs and triggers will be enough to suppress it
  15. Any reviews on how the MW product fend as compared to the others?
  16. I waiting for a chance to visit you and your tank And hopefully get some sticks as well
  17. Hmm so I'll go for a sixline then Should be easy to find My temporary chiller is in just now and finally I can put down that heavy stone

  20. Pengz, I thought you are an advocate of fat fat fishes Anyone post a pic of the yellow wrasse?
  21. I think I'll go get them anyway, better safe than sorry and if there are no nudis, they can be quite a nice addition to the tank Can anyone post a pic of how a yellow wrasse looks like? From the name it is quite vague
