  1. I've seen DE's one in person Width itself already bigger than me
  2. Is your check valve those swing type? I'm also guessing there's something stuck there
  3. Yes, lesson learnt for everyone From this, SRC will be better
  4. Just noticed this. Most members ever online was just now at 10.30
  5. So I guess everything's settled? Let's forget about this issue and move on
  6. Cool, it even features WL's tank!! I like the way you emphasize on quality over quantity That's the way to go man!!
  7. That crab looks cool but I'll recommend you take them out Also take the mantis out too, you'll regret not doing so when it starts killing your fishes. And the debris is detritus from the rock. Try to siphon them out during water change And BTW, nice view you got there
  8. You are wrong as you posted commercially and this is violating the rules Let's leave the mods to settle this We shall not post anymore unecessary comments k?
  9. Bro Jon/Jason we have been gracious enough and are almost willing to forgive your wrongdoings but you, time and again, betray our trust and sympathy. If you have a fetish for mod-less forums, then please leave here. SRC does not welcome people like you to break what we have been trying so hard to patch up
  10. Because mods are there to keep people like you at bay You don't seem to get what I am trying to tell you just now
  11. You do not need to have a LFS to be a sponsor We do have sponsors who operate at home
  12. HP means Horse Power Of course you can use a 1/4 HP chiller in a huge tank but it'll probably chill non-stop. Basically, like WL said, the higher the HP, the better the chilling power
  13. Ok, now that you have spoken, I do really hope you will change your ways. The mods have their reasons to suspend your account so it'll be quite nonsensical and rather rebellious to re-create new accounts to continue your ways. By now, you should know that SRC does not tolerate commercial postings and what I find more infuriating is that you had actually lied to us by claiming you are a different person and ask for our sympathy. Why? Why must people like you appear and disrupt the peace here? If you really want to earn your keep, go have a nice talk with Conrad and become our sponsor and do things the right way. I do hope that you change your ways and shall these be a lesson learnt
  14. Wah this is like a really old thread Anyway, I have put aside the project for the moment
  15. Implies that his first post mentioned "previous post" This case is getting wierd and quite out of hand Can any of the mods do something to clear things up?
  16. Thanks bro madmac for correcting my mistake I was either too engrossed in the ###### beach part or too stressed in my practical today Thanks again
  17. Thanks WL I got a small 1 inch frag, you want?
  18. I doubt that will work The sillicate ions will still be in the water Best is to at least use a deioniser to remove the ions
  19. I'm guessing why coralline grows on the sand is that I have my blue T5s directly above it I think boosting magnesium and strontium might work but do not overdose
  20. To completely cure diatoms, prevent sillicates from going into your tank You can run rowaphos and use RO/DI or DI water for any addition to your tank
  21. Those are probably single celled diatom algae Quite common in newly started tanks and will go away if you maintain good water parameters
  22. Here's my portion of it Anyway, saw lots of those purple with green corallite ones at PR too. Not really sure what they were though
