    Randy is an expert in chemistry Anyway, when I was pruning the chaeto yesterday, I noticed that half of the bunch had thick curly strands while the other half had thin straight strands. Could this be some sort of mutation or is it a sign of maturation?

    Sian.. Just as I expected, my camera is unable to focus the image in the microscope eyepiece. I'll bring in my videoscope soon and hopefully we can get some pics
