Mangroves are good in a sense that you have a lot of life appearing in your tank. It cannot be used as an efficient nutrient export as they grow incredibly slowly and require bright lights. If you have a huge tub and can afford to plant about 10 seedlings, you have to plant them in mud.

Those worms actually bore large holes in the colony any is more of a parasite. You will find the colony in stress and they can actually reproduce and spread to other colonies

I am not that sure with the UV but as for CO2, you'll only need it for a calcium reactor. As you pump CO2 into a calcium reactor, it becomes carbonic acid which reacts with the CaCO3 media to produce CaHCO3 or calcium hydrogencarbonate. Hope that helps

Denitrators are hard to tune and are for those who are dedicated to mintor it well or else you risk getting poisoned by the toxic H2S produced if wrongly tuned
