  1. And here's the last frag from a bro Full solid blue echinata frag (what I always wanted!) And you can see the damage on the rainbow monti
  2. Here it is digitally enlarged to show the unique polyp colour!!
  3. And also many thanks for this unique frag This is a pink polyped, green monti cap
  4. Got this purplish rim green monti cap from a bro (thanks a lot for helping me complete my collection) And you guys can see how SPS eating crabs really got me furious when it almost totally ate up my rainbow monti
  5. Yes, in fact, Anthony Calfo will be having a fragging workshop I'm also looking at whether I can bring Rob Fenner in too
  6. I've seen a few farms bring them in and I think Henry has some too
  7. What you guys think about the Nokia 6680? If it is good and satisifies the consumer, I'll get it today
  8. Hi guys, after catching a huge hairy crab that was munching away my SPS (almost totally ate up my rainbow monti), I was looking for a more natural and hassle free way to keep them at bay. Would it be possible to buy some symbiotic SPS crabs from the LFS so that they guard the SPS colonies from these nuisance hairy crabs?
  9. Get an abelone for those longer strands of algae and some astrea snails for the shorter ones. I personally dislike urchins to be placed in the main tank as they will be hard to remove once their job is done. And not to mention, urchins move unbearably slow!!
  10. Yes, and refractometer prices had dropped from the $100+ when it was first introduced to the hobby and I find that it had slowly become a must-have for this hobby.
  11. You guys know that I've postponed the meeting to next year and I've certainly not forgotten about it! The tentative (most likely confirmed) date is 25th June There will be a host of activities which include a workshop by Anthony Calfo In preparation for this event, there will be books and posters by Anthony for sale soon and the proceeds go into this event. Catered for the beginner to the advanced aquarist, this is not to be missed Check back to this thread for further updates
  12. Haha tks for telling me I'm a free thinker and my uncle told me that yesterday so I thought so But nonetheless, it is still an open debate as there is still some difficulty to change that Christmas=presents way of thought I'm just glad that I've learnt something more about Christmas this year
  13. Yes, I do agree that Christmas had lost it's meaning on the most part. Like the above mentioned and to those who don't know yet, Christmas is actually the date whereby Jesus was born. But sadly, in this space age era, Christmas had become more of a "festival" sort of celebration and of course not to mention that the main focus of the majority for Christmas is not the birth of Christ but the presents they are going to receive. Churches on the other hand, had still held on to the true meaning of Christmas which is still a good thing but for the others, it might be a holiday or a time whereby there is a large demand for presents (toys especially). I think that it is not wrong to have the spirit of sharing and giving but at least we must know what Christmas really is, even if we are non Christians
  14. I dose 3 drops of CV per day and 2 drops of Salifert AA per day CV IMO makes milleporas grow super fast and AA tend to change the colour of SPS, especially polyp colour
  15. Thanks again cityofangels for sharing your experience I think I can go down to the shop to take a look at the real thing (since looking is free) And lastly, is the phone very prone to scratches?
  16. I'm really tempted to pop by the mobile shop and get a V3 Can't stand its sleekness and since I'm going to use it primarily as a phone and sms only, is the phone user friendly enough to cover these functions?
  17. Zoos are not equal to zooplankton "Zoos" is a short form given to zoanthids and you can find lot's of pics here Zooplankton are plankton which consists of animal type organisms Phytoplankton are plankton which consists of plant type organisms And most people dose live phytoplankton to increase biodiversity in thier tanks and to feed LS such as clams As for zooplankton, most reefers have them growing in refugiums so it's not a necessity to dose
  18. And just to ask for a personal experience from V3 users, how is the reception?
  19. Yeah my cousin also got the W550i at a bargain price but it's too fat IMO Considering the newer models of the V3 would have so many functions, I think the price would be a little steep
