my tank temp is not a problem as i have a diy chiller. the coralife 55watt 50/50 PL is $85

Now i got PL lights and i know that i would have to change the tubes every 6mths or a year. then today i noticed that one PL tube would cost me $85. I have 2 PL fixtures which would cost me $170 to replace the tubes. If so, i might as well upgrade to MH for $200 and replace the bulb every year for abt $100+. My tank is only 12 inches high and its not convincing to change to MH. can anyone give some advice?

Today i went to Pasir Ris Farm and saw got some BABY MAXIMA CLAMS and also a very special TWIN DERASA CLAM. The baby maxi got dark blue and powder blue colour while the derasas got very unique pattern. hurry! go grab them b4 they are gone!

depends on what u wanna keep. lighting has adverse effects on coral colouration too. my finger leather was light brown when i had FL lights but turned to solid pink after my PL change
