actually, UV does have a significant role to play in the colouration of the SPS. other than producing UV protective pigments which determines the colour of the coral itself, UV also induces the protein in the cells and actually activates the fluorescence.

Hi guys, i noticed that untouchables mentioned that the maximum pressure of water you can push into a Beckett nozzle is 1000 US Gallon/h which is about 3000+ lph. can anyone with experience verify this claim?

well, i believe that the car windscreen cover is much more reflective than the normal FL reflectors and aluminium. furthermore, it can be bent to a parabolic shape much like the spider reflectors

Hi guys, i thought of an idea for making your own reflector. it is to use those car windscreen cover(those with a very shiny surface) it is also bendable and can be made into a U-shaped parabola but my only concern is whether it can "tahan" the heat given off by the bulb. just to share my idea
