Hi guys, I noticed that there are lots of juv. sailfin tangs around lately and I want to get a Zebrasoma Desjardinii. Since the juv. of Z. Desjardinii and Z. Veliferum are almost identical, how do I differentiate between the two?

I envision that SRC would one day open a mini clubhouse where we could have frequent meetings to discuss all sorts of topics on reefkeeping. We could even hold talks and seminars to educate and share findings and information. We could even set up a shop selling some products or equipments and the funds collected could go into further progress of the club. Maybe, if we are capable, we could even organise frag x-change sessions monthly!! We can also embark on things like refugium kits or many other cultures that cannot be found in LFS or even on research projects that can not only benefit reefers in Singapore but also share it with reefers from other parts of the world. So let us "maju" from this "hentak" position and grow into a full fledged club where reefers get to know each other and learn new skills and knowledge

recently, there has been a debate on whether caulerpa sp. is suitable to be put into tank. anyway, I also dun find it good because it easily goes asex and the toxins it produces will even disrupt the growth of some corals and cause RTN
