  1. Alot of old thread diggers recently. kfc, gstar and calvinming - all with the same style of posting to increase posts. Mods please help to check if its not the same person.
  2. Care to share how many tanks you are planning on building/have been built and state the purpose of each tank? Are all tanks connected with each other?
  3. Hi Bro, so far I have not heard of any fish that naturally feeds on star polyps. There are exceptions of course.
  4. Does it have legs? If not, it could be a baby sea cucumber.
  5. How is the blue lights coming along? Any significant changes to grow colours? What about growth, did it slow down?
  6. If you're going to kill the liverock, then why not just buy dead rock instead? Its cheaper and you don't have to scrub algae, remove pests etc.
  7. Please be specific if you're asking about SPS or LPS corals because they are different - and by different I mean that SPS holds lesser zooanthellae than LPS. So let me ask you again, are you referring to SPS or LPS corals? Here is a good thread which I easily found: http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/254352-zooxanthellae-and-color/
  8. I noticed you like to post questions that answers can be easily found if you bothered to do a search on Google. Secondly, are you asking a question regarding SPS corals? If not, you're in the wrong forum pal.
  9. Bro, google brown jelly disease. I would recommend against buying infected corals
  10. Selling away 2 units, bought them as spares. (Bulbs only, no holders) Both units are brand new, and are working when tested. Specifications: 12X3W PAR38 LED 2 x Cool white 8000k 2 x Violet (410 - 420nm) 8 x Royal blue (455 - 460nm) Both units come with 120 degree lens which is good for shallow tanks. If you think the 120 degree lens is too wide, I can exchange it for 1 brand new 90 degree lens as I removed them from the current PAR38s I'm using for my tank. I'm selling each unit for $65 and both units for $120. Collection will be at Toa Payoh and the units will be tested in front of the buyer to ensure that they are working. Whatsapp/SMS me at 965-80-411 if interested.
  11. Pure drinking water and distilled water are totally different. Your tds is high because there are minerals in the water. Try to test on ntuc or life distilled water and the reading shld be close to 0.
  12. Do not use mineral water. Use distilled water instead. Dasani is mineral water if I remember correctly.
  13. 3 cleaners and 24hrs later, the place looks like this: Singapore's efficiency 1, literacy 0. This country's failing system can only do that much. And its no wonder why our Town Council fees are increasing.
  14. From my exp, it is a sign of poor water quality.
  15. This has nothing to do with religion. Incense bins are provided. You can see 4 bins in the pic. Even though its once a year, it doesnt mean that one can automatically start littering due to the occasion.
  16. Was walking past when I saw this: Am I the only one who sees something wrong with this? I know its the 7th month but that doesn't give one the right to litter. Its no wonder why our society will never move forward because our people can't even follow a simple task as to not litter. Very embrassing indeed.
  17. This thread is a violation of the terms and conditions stated by not disclosing the price. Will you kindly state the price that you sold the fish for even if it is already been sold?
  18. Just took a pic. The 2 white indents are the cracks formed after frequent usage. Here's a tip. Cut off the tip of the old baster and slot the new one over it to extend the length. I can now siphon the base of my tank without getting my hands wet. ( the tip turned purple as I leave the baster in my ios but no ill effects observed.)
