Acquired this, Weipro 2011 skimmer for my tank. I've personally used this skimmer before. Really value for money, and provides satisfactory results.
-
Bought this when I was in Taiwan. Don't think I've seen any such containers in Singapore. Or maybe I just never open my eyes wide enough. The white one seems to be really good for placing chaeto.

My favourite, Seio M820. Do you think its an overkill for this tank? Planning to use it as a 'return pump' as well. More details to be explained later.

Atman 104 Pump. Will be used as my skimmer pump. There's still some coloured coraline algae left after being place out of water for the past year. Hmmm..

The tank is a standard 2ft Pentas tank with black bracing at brim. I also have another similar 1.2ft tank as well, seen in the picture with sand and some dead liverocks.

I'm finally back into reefing after more than a year. Reason was because I was in Taiwan for overseas posting. I'd been planning this setup for many long anticipated months now, refer to my previous thread here. http://www.sgreefclub.com/forum/index.php?...c=68987&hl= However, all plans had to go down the drain! Due to some unforeseen budget restrictions, had to scrap all ideas and make do with what little I have. But that isn't going to deter me from coming back into reefing. I hope you guys will help me along the way with my tank setup. Here's a picture of my miserable 'spare' tank with all my previous equipment that was sitting around for the past year.

The 2ft tank would be those 5-plan tank that those people use to keep luohans in last time. Its 24"x12"x14".

I'm planning to use my seio M820 for my 2ft standard tank for circulation. Would it be too powerful for it? It will also be used as a 'return' pump as my tank will be an IOS tank. Please advice. Thanks.

Hi peacemaker, the space between the wall and the bed is currently designated to place my bicycle. Due to limited space in my room, I can't afford to have more moving space although I would like that very much. The table is situated away from the wall because I hate not knowing if anyone sneaks into my room to spy on my work with my back facing the wall. Also, the wall gets direct sunlight in the evenings. Just some updates, I managed to fit the center leg support of the table, and used 2 G-clamps to clamp both ends of the table top to the 2 support ends. Probably remove the clamps after a week when the table top has bent itself back. Currently I have 2 locations in mind for my 2ft tank, will post pictures of it soon.

No, why? What do you guys think about my new room? Any opinions and suggestions are welcomed.

Still haven't found a decent chair because their chairs I think not really good or suitable. However, I'm now in the process of getting the decors done. Next step will be to setup my 2ft tank.

In my opinion, not really satisfied with the quality of the products. 1. Some of the furniture that I opened from the package was scratched and seemed like it was opened up before. 2. Missing parts 3. 2m table top is warping at the center. The middle leg support can't fit because its of the wrong height. Overall grading. 6/10 Although they have good customer service, cheap prices, great location (near my place), their products look nice, but have no quality. Even their showroom pieces are in bad condition. But duno why, I still buy from them.

The other corner, wardrobe with book shelf. The pic too dark to see that its a shelf because its black. May be a future fish tank location.

I've been planning for quite a long time now to get my room refurnished. Decided to get all my furniture from IKEA. Let me know what you guys think. Forgot to take pictures of my room before the transition. Note that I'm not advertising for IKEA. Just want to know your opinions. Total spent including delivery is SGD 800. Here's some pictures of my room in planning stages using the IKEA home planner.

Hi Tiff, do you mind taking a few pics of your IOS, and its compartments? I'm still planning for my long overdue tank setup.

Those appear to be copepods. They're totally harmless, and provides a good source of natural food for fishes. Some fishes like mandarin fish specifically feed on them. I'm guessing that you tank doesn't have much fishes, hence the increase in population.
