I love your nano tank! It's so clean! Care to share what equipment are you using? Any overflow to remove the dust stuck on the water's surface?

Some minor updates. Uno stacko again. Note the acrylic partition is already siliconed, look how clean the joints are. Looks like I'm getting better after so many attempts. Heh.

You have a very nice tank Iceman! Please continue to update on your tank progess.

yes I'm working shift. sometimes can work more than 12hrs a day.

Changes to the design! Inverted the partition so the hole is now at the lower part for the seio. This is because with the lowered overflow height, the seio will suck in water too fast from the surface if its placed at the top.

Giving up no, getting a new similar tank yes!

I will be making some huge modifications from the existing setup, which was full of flaws. More pictures to come soon!

Latest update!!! For those who thought I'd given up, you won't be disappointed! I spent the whole afternoon yesterday going around a few LFS in Tampines and even to Pasir Ris farm to recee for the particular tank. My search was in vain. Apparently not many LFS sell this type of tanks anymore. Only seen the round edge ones. I finally had a breakthrough when I went to Bedok 85 to try my luck. The other LFS next to 'the noisy shop' had 2 of these tanks, still wrapped in plastic! I was so thrilled that I just had to get it right there. You guys wouldn't believe if I told you I managed to bring the tank back safely with just my motorbike!!! :eyebrow:

Thanks all for the info. I will have to look around any LFS on Friday in search of a tank.

Looking for a new 2ft standard tank, similar to mine. I've thought of getting a new tank and then transferring everything into it. But most of the LFS don't have this kind of tank for sale anymore. Anyone knows where to get it? Preferably in the East as I don't have transport.

Well the leak has minimised, but its still there. There are only 2 options left, and both of the requires emptying the tank, which is something that I don't want to do. Because if I were to empty it, chances are I'll just tear down the setup. I'll just leave this setup on hold first at the moment.
-
Its really a challenge coming up to this stage, but I can't move on because of this setback. So far the leak has been stopped after a couple hours of test runs and I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.
-
Actually I would agree with you to silicon all 4 sides. But upon observation, the 4 corners of the tank are protruding outwards, so the leak will not spread to the other sides, if you get what I mean. I'll test the tank again later in the afternoon. Hope the problem will be solved once and for all.

The overflow can't be lowered as it requires cutting the acrylic partition which is already silicone to the tank.

Done at 5am this morning. Its been 12 hours already and I can't wait to see the tank in operation again. Do you think 12 hrs is enough? I told myself that if the tank leaks again this time, I'll have to scrap the whole tank setup. Been spending too much time on this but only getting negative results.

Yes I've did just that, only to the side that is leaking. Do I have to silicone the perimeter on all 4 sides?

BAD NEWS AGAIN!!! My mum called me at about 11pm after my work. Told me that there's water on my room's floor. My heart sank. I instructed her to off the master switch. Came back from after my friend's BBQ and inspected the tank. Found out that the same area is still leaking!!!
