  1. More updates please! Really great tank you have there! How about a FTS with the fishes inside?
  2. Throw out the window counted??
  3. Do the drip method. Its best not to expose the shrimp to air, so don't use a net to transfer them into the tank.
  4. I read an article before on somebody else's tank some time ago. His zoos were being eaten up every night and the culprit was also a 4ft long bristleworm. But not as thick as Barry.
  5. You have a very nice nano! Care to share some tank specs and equipment that you're using?
  6. Saw them at Ah Beng yesterday. Still got alot left.
  7. The pellet I'm feeding my fishes are smaller than 1mm in diameter. I always crush my pellets so that all the fishes can eat. But the YCG dont even care when the pellet sinks infront of it. Will try feeding with garlic tomorrow.
  8. Haha, lemon! That 'powder red tang' already so badly photoshoped and you still can't tell.
  9. I've seen the goby feeding on pods. Although I have alot of pods in the tank, the fish doesn't seem to be eating its fill. I'll try soaking pellets with garlic juice first, then see how. Thanks for the help.
  10. Hey, you are back! After so many years haha. What happened to your 2ft? A pico tank is hard to keep. It needs lots of maintenance, no matter what kind of equipment you use, the space is an issue. How small of a tank are you looking at? The most challenging problem for me is the temperature. It wouldn't be a problem if the tank is situated in an air conditioned room. For a pico tank, I think an iceprobe would do the job. But then again you have to state the size of the tank first, before more advice can be given.
  11. Hey jervis, I missed your 4ft tank at your workplace. Why did you decom that tank?
  12. I don't know if its considered spamming, but I've reported it already anyway.
  13. The spammers are back again. AT, just want to know how many mods do we have here?
  14. Because no one press me for updates. Haha, just kidding. The lousy camera I'm using just can't seem to take a decent shot of the tank.
  15. dude, I can only remember you by that avatar of yours haha. Havent changed from last time till now.
  16. Turning off your pump is like turning off the power to your fridge. You wouldn't turn off your fridge for 8 hrs everyday right? Unless you have nothing stored inside, but thats besides the point. And you don't change water for 1/2 year? I suggest you go read up more, to prevent any more fish losses.
  17. I bought a yellow clown goby about 2 weeks ago. It doesn't feed on the frozen brine shrimp and pellet food that I feed it with. However it appears to be swimming actively despite I can tell that its stomach is slightly sunk in which shows that its not feeding enough. I have never seen it eat, but my tank is filled with pods and I dose phytoplankton once very 2 days. Any way to entice the fish to eat? Initially I thought the fish was stressed when I introduced it into the tank and was normal not to feed for a few days, but 2 weeks? Any ideas? Help would be appreciated.
  18. Noticed that if I drop more than 2 drops a day, the next morning there will be a minor algae break, a thin film of diatoms will be seen on my tank glass. I just lost another purple mushroom polyp today. Something is really wrong.
  19. Found another polyp loose again today. Have been dosing aquapharm iodide daily (1-2 drops). Did a 10% water change, and fragged the floating polyp. Its my first time fragging, so hope it turns out well.
  20. My mushroom are back to normal again. One theory is that its stretching out to my room lights when the tank lights are off.
  21. The pic is kinda hard to see. The mushroom in the middle is sagging towards the right, exposing the stretched out foot on the left.
  22. I've noticed that my mushroom corals appear to be sagging these couple of days, after the lights go off. When the lights were on, they were normal, and so are my other corals. But just now I noticed that not only 1 rock of my mushroom was sagging, but all the discomas were doing the same too! I found one of my purple mushroom head detached this morning, and hoping that they don't all start detaching as well. I took some pics of the sagging mushroom. Hope you guys can help.
