Just had a thought... and a few questions to ask: 1. Is this pond going to be a reef or fish only setup? 2. How do you intend to keep the water clear? I'm not sure if it applies to a SW pond, but those FW ponds are unable to see through the water (those who go prawning will know what I mean) 3. Care to share your equipment? Going for a 2 storey skimmer?

Advice on what to do after short circuit
Firestarter replied to nicreef's topic in General Reefkeeping_
Stop all feeding for now and do a 50% WC. If I were you I will do 80% WC... just being kiasu. -
Like you I have an office tank as well. So far my tank has not suffered any mishaps except for the aircon being turned off over the weekend for maintenance. I think its a big risk putting such a big tank in the office... you'll never know what will happen during the weekends.

Keep up with the updates! Really salute you...I think its more than a 200,000 litre pond now!
-
Very nice frag you got there!
-
Did a search on 'copper ring' and got this from coralpedia http://www.zoaid.com/index.php/index.php?module=Gallery2&g2_itemId=167 Doesn't look like the ones in your pic IMO. I think you've mistaken it for the common zoas that can be found at Ah Beng for less an a red note.
-
Very nice tank. Time to steal some frags from you.
-
Thanks! Already reserved a frag for you if you're interested.

I still haven't achieved my mushroom tank dream yet. How about you? Hows your mushies doing?
-
All hidden dragons. Saw some st thomas mushrooms at GO a while back. Going for 100+ a rock!
-
Yes and I thought that your interest in mushies have shifted. Bought 2 rocks of mushrooms this week without thinking twice. Guess I still have the interest in mushrooms.
-
Same as what kenny said, any pics under white lights? Zoas under blue lights tend to be way off their actual colours.
-
Great idea but it only spreads the hair algae to other parts of the tank.
-
I used to have WI stands for my tanks, no problem. What I did was to spray 2 coats of anti rust followed by 2 coats of black paint. Be sure to check with a torchlight that all parts of the anti rust paint is covered by the black paint, as it is hard to tell the dark brown and black paints without using a torchlight.

You're most welcome bro.
