BM NAC 3.5 less than 1 year old @ $70 3. Nano bio pallet reactor @ $20 All item self collect at Woodlands. All electric to be test on the spot before handover and it's final. Please SMS me at 9..730..2323 for fast deal
  2. For laptop adapter at most I found is 24v which can drive 6-7 led per driver. For my case I will need 8-9 driver that would almost double of my driver that I use now. And made cost must higher. Else need to jump to proper dc converter higher voltage insate like 48v for 12 led per string.
  3. You mean meanwell LDD series? But this will require DC voltage for input. I try to search for another,it's also using DC input. Hmm..... Llook like if really need to control to single digit dimmable percentage need to go for DC controller.
  4. Thank will try to search. As I understand that this meanwell driver by official spec it can dim to only 10-15%. After some search seem not many in market can dim to 1%. One of them is call Steve's driver. It's cheaper than meanwel but sure about reliability. I will try to research more.
  5. It's around 12" from water surface. As I use 60 degree lens. When turn at 90% it very bright. Anyone have par meter for me to borrow to measure will be the best measure.
  6. Sure I will try to get close up shot too. Let me try to stock up first as have not think much beside the zoa.
  7. How to add resister? Is it add out put or at the dimming port? As for the output the driver will automatic adjust output voltage. It can support from 8 -14 led. And need not to add resistor to drop output voltage. And for dimming from manaul I can connect to any PWM controller to control dimming.
  8. Feel free to any comment. I still have a lot to learn in world of reef tank
  9. After tank cycle completed I had transfer LS from Nano and frag tank to this tank now. Here is current rockscape I must say rockscape for partition tank/ multi viewing size is very very challenge My Zoa collection Cleaning crew at work
  10. Here is My sump section Skimmer at work I must say it very good performance compare to the price.
  11. My lighting schedule now is 10 am Daylight 15% Actinic 50% 11 am Daylight 50% Actinic 75% 12 pm Daylight 90% Actinic 90% 16 pm Daylight 50% Actinic 75% 17 pm Daylight 25% Actinic 25% 20 pm Daylight 15% Actinic 25% 21 pm Daylight 0% Actinic 25% 22 pm All light off One think is Controller that I use (ELN-60-48P) cannot dim below 10% (It will consider as turning off if below 10% Anyone know which controller that can dim until 1% would like to try it out too.
  12. And for the light controller, I opt for this. And this what is with basic set. After some hick up and great support from Reef angel team (Singapore and US) Now I able to control my light schedule freely for both timing and intensity. But you have to direct change code. It not difficult after try. Due to Basic set can control up to 2 channel of Dimmable LED (2 x PWM channel) so I had to group my LED as followed. Channel 1 Control Day light (cool white and warm white) Channel 2 Control Blue light (royal blue and blue) Channel 3 UV (Non Dim) on fix timing. Actually I still have spare of Cyan bulb to play around but it better to have their own control channel. To archive this I need to add PWM controller module. So I put on pending first. Out of budget now. he..he Out of the box it can control light, PH, Auto top -up, and I call this macro mode by you can group to control your equipment together in 1 control function E.g. In water change mode to turn off main pump, Skimmer, Chiller and FR. And turn all on after complete the task. so can prevent skimmer overflow when turn off main pump for example.
  13. You mean the plane. It all on the wall. till I have reserved this wall side for my tank. LOL
  14. And Here is finish product. Not so bulky look consider it DIY. And of course I hide all the messy thing ( all driver) at behind the cabinet.
  15. Nope the plane is for my son. He fly much better than me
  16. While wait for tank cycle, I am proceed to build my light set. I choose to go with Full Cree LED with dimmable driver so My BOM as followed: XP-G Warm white x 8 nos (Max 1500 ma) XP-G Cool white x 8 nos (Max 1500 ma) Violet UV x 8 (Max 700 ma) XT-E Royal blue x 24 (Max 1500 ma) XP-E Blue x 12 (Max 1000 ma) I hope the above set of the bulb should provide full spectrum for the coral ( Red and yellow from warm white 3500K and UV for additional spectrum Total of 60 LED For Driver I use Meanwell ELN-60-48P x 4 (Dimmable) LPC-35-700 x1 (Non-Dim) For easy build I opt to reuse below heat sink, This help to speed up the build and easy for installation. For the wiring on each control channel as in below info. Channel 1 Drive at 1300 ma (Dimmable) --> 8 warm white and 4 royal blue Channel 2 Drive at 1300 ma (Dimmable) --> 8 Cool white and 4 royal blue Channel 3 Drive at 1000 ma (Dimmable) --> 12 Royal blue Channel 4 Drive at 1000 ma (Dimmable) --> 8 Blue and 4 royalblue Channel 5 Drive at 700 ma (Fixed) --> 8 UV and 4 blue Note: For ELN-60-48P driver is not complete plug and play. Default current setting at 1300 ma. This may need to adjust according to the application.
  17. I just start my another journey to marine tank again after decom my 5 feet tank and take a short break. ( It really short break ). I got reef bug again start with nano tank with trial of "Proper DIY LED light" and It seem successful. Now I bite another bullet and burn a big hole (of course got approved from CFO he...he). Now I upgrade to shallow 4ft tank with 3 site Crystal glass. Ok now start with the basic equipment list. Tank: 48" x 24" x 18"(h) (16" water level) with 2 feet sump and view port for refugium. Return pump : Reef octopus 8000l/h T-off to chiller and PO4 reactor Skimmer : Bubble Magus Curve 7 Bio reactor : Penductor reactor (Not sure I call it correctly) with Ehiem compact 1000 Wave maker : MP10Wes (Looking for another unit for future expansion. DIY LED light with controller. Tank come installation. Good thing is I can choose the color of cabinet to match with my house furniture.
