Must thanks to her, In fact 1/3 of my LS is was her idea specially sun coral. I do maintain she enjoy beauty. I think whatever hobby we are interest it will be best if it bring joy to whole family.

Hi I also stay in woodland and also just start in this hobby for few month. I just like you start with 2.5' with DIY stuff for stand and sump. Now I just got my self 3' (2nd hand very cheap) cabinet tank with support from my wife as my current tank underneat very massy . As for SUN for my limited knowledge it need flow more than light. I also target feed them It seem to open nicely.

For ligh I use MH 150W 20K bulb. I measure for Ph is 8.2 But for Kh is 7 may be this is why. Now I try to bring up Kh to the level.

My Ph is 8.2 salinity is 1.023 But I have no calcium test kit

1) My setup is around 1 month I use cure rock from another reefer and force to another cycle by put the shrimp in tank Amonia was raise for first few days and it stable after 2 weeks. I did water change ~ 20% with NSW from farm. 2) Amonia is 0 No2 is 0 No3 is around 5 3) My setup spec is Tank 30" x 20" x 24" high Weipro protien skimmer filter is live rock and wool chiller setting at 26 - 27 degree BTW now for Hammer are okay all head open very big now. Another coral like Jewel and Zoa also doing okay. only clam was die

hi I just got Clam (Maxima as what I was told by reefer I got from). First night He doing ok. But on next day (This morning) it closed and I saw some slime like spider web came out. Any one can tell what is happen. What should I do with it? Thanks

Hi I need help. I just got my self hammer and maxima clam yesterday. - when I move it to main tank hammer created white color slime alot of them ( I dip in fresh water before put to tank. Is it okay?) - BTW for hamer it should be under LPS or soft corol or somethink else? - for the clam after 1 day he did have some think like sipder web is it okay? Thanks in advance

Hi all I need some help regard of cycle of new tank. Currently I just start up tank with SSB and LRs (~ 40 KG for 2.5 feet tank got from reefer here fully cure and few from LFS). As I want to proper cycle the tank so I put 1 shimp in the tank. - How long do I need to leave it there? - Currently my sump have nothing but filter spong. Do I need to put any think else in sump for filtering? I did not start skimmer yet and some suggest to turn on 2 weeks after cycle. - When do I need to turn on blue light to glow purple algre? (after cycle or between cycle) Hope you gay can help for above question.
