just to share my personal experience, had 1 plate coral. the whole plate is sticky. i just squirm some mysis on the plate it will stick there irregardless it extend it tentacle or not. it will still respond to the food.

not sure if it is right to ask this. can any kind reef care to share which LFS offer the most competitive price for ROWAPHOS and PHOSBAN? probably LFS should not be name but i am keen to know what are the price in the market for these 2 media.

yup. it brown in colour. but when i saw it at the LFS, it seem to swell abit. after bring back, honestly i hardly recognise it. it look world of different from the LFS. i kind of wonder why i bought that.

condolence bro. i think shrimp are pretty sensitive. i ever bought a pepermint shrimp. just condition temp then i put in. that the only day i see it.

i am using a refractormeter. not using sump so dont really experience water loss and have alway been monitoring the water level. think i try bring down the salinty. can save some money on salt mix also.

is it better/recommend to have lower salinty? or just a safe measurement so that there is more buffer in the salinty?

what should be the proper way to add additive in powder form? mix with some tank water before adding or mix with DI water? few day away when i was preparing WC. added some KH powder in the WC pail after salt mix was prepared. in tend to change water today. to my surprise this morning, there were alot of powder settling at the bottom. seem like the KH is too high in the WC pail that some Ca drop out. please correct me if i am wrong. cause i remember reading up some where that there is a balance between KH and Ca.

yesterday calibrated my pH pen, seem like it is way off calibration. so new verify reading is 8.1. my tank temperature is maintain at 26ºC. i assume no pest or fish cause i only have 3 fish in my tank. should be relatively peaceful for the yuma.
