  1. wondering if it require to feed coral different type of food every now and then or just stick to 1 type? btw anyone feed bloodworm in their tank?
  2. what is the main different a sun and super sun coral? i realise super sun are alot more pricely than sun.
  3. can anyone enlighten me about how actually changing water reduce nitrate? i mean it will reduce but in fact not significant if it is already low. for example, a tank with 20ppm of nitrate. a water change of 20% will maybe take away 4ppm. i guess a weekly change of 20% maybe not be able to cope up with the bioload in a tank even if it is very lowly stock.
  4. are they good cleaner? paid the price of 1 goni and camel shrimp to realise pepermint is a different breed. lesson of the day. never assume.
  5. shrimp reserved. Sorry to reefer who express interest.
  6. my goni got eaten clean already. so sad. now very frustrated with the shrimp. thought it was same as peppermint shrimp that why i buy.
  7. as per topic. interested PM me. self collect at bukit merah
  8. it now on the sand bed. is that fine? but seem like the shrimp are kicking it around because it relatively small. is there anything i can do about it?
  9. is that so? so how i find that the goni is not opening up. no doubt it still under acclimatise i would say. bought is last sat. but it was opening up slightly last few day.
  10. i just saw this camel shrimp eating it ? do they ?
  11. Do goniopora move by itself to find a comfortable spot? i place my on top of the LR but keep dropping down. wondering it was disturb by some crab or it move by itself.
  12. Aquanaut AN50 skimmer going for $80. interested pls PM me.
  13. is there a skimmer beside hangon and in sump design? i knew that there is also external. but seem like the external design work well with sump. my current situation is that i do not have space to accomdate a hangon and neither do i have a sump. any suggestion reefers?
  14. wah! all camp in forum waiting for good gem to be let go. so fast all reserve already
  15. the whole block move. and it wasnt easy to move as in. from A to B, the rock it rest on is like a V shape. so there is a small gap it had to overcome. and amazing it did. i mean if it wasnt move properly then it will likely end up on the sand due to the stablility of the rock. Are snail that amazing?
  16. 1 shrimp, 2 hermit crab, 2 snail and 1 cucumber. any chance any of them could move the zoa? somehow the zoa was move to a pretty stable position. i was rather impressed by the move.
  17. a very noob question. does zoa move by itself to find a comfortable spot? i guess they dont right since they are usually attach to a rock or something when we buy. but today i realise mine had shift to the other side of the rock. wonder what could have shifted them?
  18. i have thought of that also. but it quite costly. my tank is about 50litres. so a weekly change of 10-20% would be like 5-10litres. distill water of the shelf will cost around almost 1dollar for 1 litre. with this calculation, it not very cost effective and quite a bit of work to buy distill water in huge quantity.
