First fish shot.. true perc pair.. hosting a lumi green long polyps leather... Ray (fellow reefer) and his gf loves this, so to thank Ray for taking time with the scape, the leather with it's "defenders" and placed at the front left corner of the tank!

Very important piece of equipment... 3-in-1 digital timer. this is a cheap and good equipment! I'm using it to control: 1) 2 moon lights (led)- simulate dusk and dawn. 2) 2x54w T5 - 0730-2100 3) 2x54w T5 - 0800-2200 4) 2x250w MH - 1000-1100 5) 1xfan - when MH is on Thus, I need 2 of this unit with 1 spare point. Which I'm planning to use for refugium reverse photoperiod... Now lighting is fully automated.. well, almost...

These lights were recycled from my previous old tanks. Plan was to "test" using 4 tubes DE-lighting vs 4 tubes of ATI powermodule. Results were conclusive. Total power used: 8x24=192w. However this setup used to many powerpoints, and par value is not that good... thus jumped on the bandwagon when fellow reefer, desi and ketchup offered their 4' giesseman Infiniti for me to "experiment". Total power: 500w (MH)+ 216 (T5) = 716w! within 1 week of using it, can see corals are colouring up. This despite only 1hr of MH per day. Thumbs up for desi and ketchup!!!

So once water is settled, got in the master - scaper for assistance.. he is shy boy, requested to remain silent.. to respect his privacy, I'll upload this instead.. And the end result is this... As of all tank scapes, fine tuning is a must - just ensure you leave some gap for working

Upon advice from some senior reefers, decided to remove all water again, and this time, call lfs to deliver nsw. This turn out to be the right decision to speed up cycling! Size of a 1L rowa vs the tub.. I needed 3 of these... about 600L... cost: $150, I think. But the good thing is within 3days, I see pods, a lot, moving on glass walls..

So how crazy??? Have you ever seen your Skimmer cup overflow like this???

This scape is to be "refreshed" by a fellow good friend, who also scaped my other tank previously. More on that later.. Lesson 1: never put live rocks into freshly mixed saltmix... I did just that and ended up killing the "live rock".. along with a huge crab with the rocks.. within a few hours, got bad smell... and skimmer went crazy!!!

First up... my first "scape" if you can consider it a scape.. merely placed 5 +/- pieces of rock into the tank..

Yup. Will be in the overflow box compartment.. this enhancement will be done in the next 2 weeks when I'm on leave..

Comy... No issues with the stand pipe.. no noise, as i use 2 pipes and valves to control the speed of the overflow.

Iggy... here's what it is... Black colour cable trunking.. meant to keep wires neat and tidy.. just like what comycus has.. just that most shops don't have black, thus I bought them online.

I may have something similar in my tank.. but the purple is definitely not as vibrant as this... will share some pics during the weekend when I'm home when the MH are on...

So long the heat is not in the house.. it's great! One less pump, so less heat. Or u can use the same pump to power your 3xFR... Placement best to be recommended by the compressor installer. But if u can accept the heat in the house, a 1/3hp will do the job, it takes about double the time to chill the water.

Nicely done bro... suggestion.. ever considered using a compressor for ur tank? this will free up more space in your cabinet area.. which u can use for storage or QT.
