My Love-Hate Fish... Love this particular specimen with tiger patterns body stripes... almost double the usual 4-5 stripes. Hate the fact that it nips on some of my corals... (softies and LPS included!!!) Nicknamed Pui Hor (fat tiger).

Finally, the ABT is released into main tank... (after 1 month!) Fish is still suffering from some skin disease... but non-infectious (Bro Lemon: i still can't remember the name you mentioned)... Anyway, it's good to see that cleaner shrimps and cleaner wrasse are taking turns to clean him up... 02 days after releasing... and i already looks much better.

Left half of my 2.5' reef... Once the big bubble goes, am looking to replace it something less green... Top part still needs some work... Added another LR to prop up the red prata, shifted the green prata higher... now both are opening much bigger. Comments are welcomed... Right side, hmm... not exactly very ready for public view...

alamak? why decomm becoz of return pump failure?? just buy new pump can liao. why don't you share with us the setup, maybe we can all chip in little bit here, little bit there... What pumps are u using currently? Is the chiller output returning to main tank? If it is, then it's not that bad (even if main return pump fails). Btw, i've also got a PVC cutter - quite easy to use (like scissors). most importantly, must have a new pump...

do you need a replacement pump? If u rush down to AquaMarin Jalan kayu now, you still may make it in time. Anyway, what pump are you using? 2 separate pumps or T-off?? I have a Aquabee 5000 for sale. PM if u're interested. collection @ bedok reservoir.

opps... sorry, i forgot 1 thing... there's a way you can clean the front netting of the chiller (in the event it collects dust). here's how you do it... 1) hold the bottom of the net with both hands on each sides. 2) Pull out towards you. (about 1-2cm will do) 3) Pull the entire netting downwards towards the floor. that should remove the netting and you can then wash it.... (and make sure you dry it before re-attaching) To install it, go steps 3 -> 2 -> 1. (replace pull with push, replace down with up, etc...) hope this helps.. any issue, just call me, i can always drop by since i'm just 10mins away.

haha... why you thank me?? i should thank you for helping me clear my storeroom... besides, you paid me for it... A few ways to 'take care' of the ugly hose. 1) Instead of returning to your main tank, return it into the sump instead. Let the main return pump do the job. This way, you'll need a lower rated pump + u will not see a hose running up into your main tank. 2) If you choose to keep to return to main tank, then run the hose via the back of the tank. Not from the side. 3) DIY or buy a small cabinet to 'enclose' the chiller. (i actually have 1 with ventilation, but am using it to put my table fan). haha... 4) Do up a full height cabinet. That'll cover up all ugly cabling + hoses + other accessories. (last resort)
