hey john, personally, im using 2 different types of pellets. NLS and Dr. Bassler in my auto feeder. 1/3 NLS + 2/3 DB the pellets are mixed before placing into the feeder or mixed within the feeder. so far, so good...

bro... it's going to take quite awhile... suspect your calcium level is very low. if you want quick-fix, can get the caribsea - purple up. besides, your lights are not turn on long enough...

2.5 feet... fish very poor thing... keep swimming in circles... tangs (my favourites) cannot do their usual sprints... and can't add any more fish as well... as the PT and KT turned bullies whenever i add any fish... so yah... it's about time to hunt for some good tanks around... if still can't find then i guess i may have to build a brand new one.

hi hope i can help you out... with a 2 ft tank, it's almost physically impossible to house a chiller and sump tank into the bottom cabinet. And this is the sump. this maybe something for you to consider... this is a 2.5'x2'x2' the cabinet on the side is to hide the chiller.€ i think there's another bro fishtalk1517 also has a very nice design to hide his chiller. you can try to do a search on his tank thread. (sadly he recently decommed).

i hope to see if the 10K will help in your growth of SPS... coz im using 14KK (250W) + 2x24 (actinic and blue plus). Growth seemed to be slower than i like... i'm also going back to dosing and planning to plug in my KR (just bought from bro shootsimon who sadly had to decomm) within these few weeks.

wah... share some pix bro... i'm thinking of some more actually. blastos... i usually spray them with cyclopeeze first (tempt them to open tentacles) - i believe they do take cyclopeeze. Thereafter, i target feed with henry's food. (only the left overs after feeding the fish). it's quite a joy to see them feed... must slowly fatten up mine... they've been starving for too long. hth.
