Yo Paul... you are always welcome to visit and view the tank in person. This hobby is most enjoyed when we get together and learn from each other. For tank maker, I'm just lucky to find a good one. But I agree, it's always better to preview a customized tank before delivery. If not, if the maker can make alterations foc after delivery... that's also good, though it'll delay the setup time. I'll try to share as much as I know, given that I've benefitted a lot from forum and thru friends made here!

Suffered some casualties recently. 12x dispars KIA in 1 week. 2x palm sized monti caps RTN. (No water change for 5weeks) amidst the bad news, it was spotted that some sensitive sps started to encrust and growing well (slowly)... Till the next time... please remember to do your routine water change and take ur regular measurements...

My current test kit, that's expiring in 2014, uses 2 drops of kh-ind. Where as the new one, expiring 2016, uses 4 drops, according to the instructions.. Problem is while I expect both results to be the same, they are not. Old one reads 9.3, new one is 10.5 does anyone knows why? And more importantly, which instruction is correct?
