Not even manual dose? Issit a full sps tank or just minimal sps? Quite power... if it's a 5' sps tank without cr or dosing... Good luck.
-
CR or dosing pump? Without these, u gotta do manual dosing to balance ur ca/kh and Mg How abt wavemakers? Vortec or tunze maybe?

Upz for a friendly and nice reefer! Have seen the fish over the past few days. Very very healthy specimen. It's a pity you have to decom..

Tneh!!! Thats not true. You have nice and hard-to-find SPS and zoas too! And yes I agree lemon's tank has blossomed fast (and in good condition) over the past short few months.

I usually take one video and upload. Not sure about the editing part. Never tried. Sure sure. Good stuff are worth the wait.

Lemon. You can actually use iPhone4 to take the video and post directly into YouTube. It's really easy and definitely not PITA at all. And I also like the green nepthea. *big hint* Got exchange program??

Wilson tan! I want!

Siang you are right. Im battling algae problem. Holding tank is somewhat "not so bad".. Main tank got a lot of green film algae. Major headache. Haven't been changing water weekly and ran out of rowa already. Only the main rock structure is fixed. The bottom I'm planning something. Will take awhile to complete. Plus will have a new addition to family soon.. Hopefully the tank will hold up.

Initially I felt heart pain for the price I paid (it's almost 10x the price of a normal leather), plus not sure how easy/hard this specimen is to keep. It didn't do well when initially placed in holding tank (possibly becos no sandbed), since moving to main tank, it's been relatively happy, polyps are showing everyday. The yellow is quite unmatched in the tank.

neat stuff! good to have such a clean looking tank (and cabinet too)... everything is hidden neatly! btw: is dosing pump still part of the plan? just curious, are you staying ard the east/west or it's complicated?

this tank was set up to satisfy my buying craze... about 10 weeks in operation already. Connected to the main tank, reducing the need to buy extra equipment. Only new item bought is the ATI powermodule. Special Mention: Thanks to Cedric for his many advice + hands-on practical lesson to help me set this baby up with all the DIY materials and time! Raydiative (and i wonder where is he now) for helping me lug the few jerry cans of water! Eniram: thanks bro for the absolutely lovely LR! Milch Tan: for sponsoring me the tank! Thanks bro! It's in good hands now... though i did some minor modification to the overflow... And of coz my family (in case wifey is reading) - for their support!

some more pix, taken on 01/01/11... pocci - my new luuuuuuuurve! You've seen the blue ones... now here are the rest... BOP - started off as 2 frags of 1cm each. From about 3 months back. now a decent size mini colony.
-
Hahahaha. Lol. Oops. My bad, I almost wanted to chiong for it.
-
Hey Terry, is this a different type of gorgonian that doesn't have extended polyps?
-
Mainly rics left, some pipe organs and leathers bro. Mushroom only a handful.
-
The last SPS is... NEW. Quite power. Time for exchange program again. Hehe. Yah. The Millie is new. Quite stressed when u got them. Luckily now got polyp extension. As u pointed out, I've given them good exposure just 4-5" away from the powermodule. It's the flow that I'm concerned. Holding tank got not enough movement. Think may need to get a mp20 or mp40 to supplement the 6025 and nano wavebox. Mengyang helped me with some led. But for moonlight purposes only. Haha. You using led now? How ah? Know how to diy some power ones to try? I still have not experiment SPS with led.
-
Wah peach colour... Let's see what colours it eventually gets. The yellow Millie turning light green. Barely holding the yellow. Think phosphate level high. Haha.

Yo Jamesss. Nice to meet you bro. Thanks for ur kind words, but my collection is still quite limited. Am slowly trying to increase them.

Leather Leather, simple coral comes with nice colouration (light greenish colour) Hmm.. the colouration on this clam doesn't seemed to come out right... still trying to figure how to get the bronze/pinkish colour. Any tips for me? Maybe I must shoot in 'RAW' format huh?? Noticed that the 'inside' of the clam has a luminous colouration.
