  1. Nice wor. Zoas looks good in Pico. Hammer looks. Little stressed. Hmm how abt super sun? Think it'll look good with regular WC, should be easy to maintain? And no fish??
  2. Can I join in the fun (if I can get off pass)?
  3. Update: 1 reserved. 2 more available.
  4. Haha. Seen hare! Somewhat now it is... Ok lah, diaper change is easier now, 2nd time father now, can handle things better.
  5. Harvesting time for chaeto again... Should be able to spare 3 handfuls. Pls bring ur own bag (small one will do) FOC, but I wouldn't mind if you bring a small bottle of minute maid orange pulpy drink or some new born diapers (for my baby girl).. Pm if you are keen. Pssss: timing at my convenience k? Cos got newborn at home.
  6. Hi I'm planning to harvest mine. But I'm located at Bedok reservoir. Pm me if you are keen. It's free. But I wouldnt mind if you bring a small bottle of minute maid orange pulpy drink.
  7. I tried as well, ended up with the corny one instead... I feel so sad for the seahare. All it was trying to do was to do it's job! Elegance oh elegance. That act was simply not elegant! As you can see, im staying up waiting for my turn to do the diaper change thing. Wifey feeds, I change. Thank God, Baby's been a good girl. Only wails when feeding time and poo change.
  8. Indeed bros... I wonder why the elegance did that. It's my first time having a seahare in the tank, and now, should I banish the elegance to holding tank instead? Sigh.. Now gotta rely on the 2 algae blennies to do the lawn mowing...
  9. Just witnessed the cruelty of nature... 2 days back, got myself a seahare to deal with the tank algae.. And it was certainly doing a good job. And earlier on, while doing the routine "how's-the-corals-doing" rounds, had difficulty locating the seahare, thought it must be behind the main rockscape.. Also noticed elegance coral expanding larger than normal. Upon closer inspection and to my disbelief, within it, lies the seahare!!!! Whatever that's left of it. Immediately took out the carcass.. Didnt have the chance to take picture cos it stinks bad... Goodness, I never knew elegance has such exquisite appetite. Now I wonder, what on earth was the seahare doing in/near the elegance??? Is it trying to be a sea harelegance? "ok corny i know"... Really wonder how it happened. RIP seahare. Although it's only 2 days, your contribution is much appreciated.
  10. Sounds like it's time for an open house? Even pictures may not so the tank justice...
  11. Ah Har... It all started out with a "try" for SPS. But once you see some growth, that's when u get poisoned! Quite a few gems already huh. Keep the pictures coming and see you at the clinic soon... I also haven't been there for awhile, time to see the doc once I add more real estate (live rocks, not new tank)..
  12. Power power SPS! All premium stuff. Nice to have them growing from frags! Btw: got spare frags of the attached for exchange??
  13. Hey CF, thanks for sharing the pic. Indeed it's the rusty angelfish. Usually comes with full black dots along the whole body. But I picked this cos I like the bright yellow colouration.
  14. Hehe. The scientific name hard to spell and even harder to pronounce. But it looks like ferragamo. So yah. Last night did visual observation, Lime green Millie not extending fully.. Did the kh test (didnt test ca and mg though) and true enough, bloody Kh dropped like crazy (below 6)!!! Dunno what's the reason yet cos dosing pump is working. Though I noticed that the outlet tubing has some white precipitate. Cleared it immediately and boosted some kh dose slowly. Keeping fingers crossed.
  15. Maybe not reefsafe?? *oh no* I did some quick google-Fu, seems similar characteristics as flame.. So am keeping my fingers crossed.
  16. I'm surfing via iPhone, can't upload pix. (or I dunno how to)... But can share this vid (taken when I got home from LFS).
  17. Actually you are right mike. 1 algae blenny is enough. Sigh dunno what made me buy 2, and worse still threw both into the main tank! Mandarin, I put 1 in each tank. So not that bad.. As for the centropyge ferrugatus (aka ferragamo), it went into the main tank after 30mins of acclimatization. Let's hope it does well. Btw may sound like a lot, but I only have these fish in my tank.. 1 YT, 1 dottyback, 1 purple fire-fish 2 true perc, 2 yellow wrasse *new (today) Dragon (algae blenny x 2), rusty angel and mandarin Oh. Did I mention that I feed only once a week (strictly pellets). Even then, I have bad algae problem. More importantly, thanks for the "goodie". Collected it last night. It's a great size for me.
  18. Hahaha. Yah I think I needed this therapy! Maybe meet u later tonight... TBA..
  19. Thanks Darren... Let me know when u wanna pop by. Morning should be ok or ard 9+? gimme a SMS to arrange?
  20. Bro, Think I itchy back-side. Got 2 algae blennies, 2 mandarins, 2 pcs of LR and "Ferragamo" angels. Ah, and a sea hare too! Sounds crazy hor...
  21. Wah simon. Small but power tank! Looks look those u took over are doing well. Can do exchange program le. Btw I'll let u know know on the MH again k. Still 50/50 now. No rush, cos now also no time to set it up.
