  1. Your question is just... weird. You sneeze more in the morning and less in the afternoon and it repeats the next day, but bottom line is, you still have flu. Shouldn't you be more interested in getting it rid of the problem completely and prevent it from coming back instead? Do you maintain a constant temperature in your tank?
  2. Oh my... this is really slick and compact! LEDs are really revolutionizing nano / pico tanks.
  3. Beautiful minimalist tank! Your bubbles seem a shade lighter. Bleaching?
  4. They are really cute... where did you get them?
  5. Check this link. Bro Law hit the nail on the head. Prevention is better than cure. Perform dips with either CoralRX or Lugol's solution on all zoas even before you put it in the tank. Inspect thoroughly for eggs and pick them all out. It is a nightmare to deal with them, but with patience and diligence, you will eventually win the battle. Don't give up!
  6. Are those true octos? Very nice! I'm looking for a nice little bunch for my clowns to host. They have taken an interest in the prata...
  7. Nice! Mind PMing me the cost of this setup?
  8. Here's a pic to celebrate your 100th page of lemon goodness...
  9. I second this. Regular water changes are more effective in removing waste in a small tank as compared to depending on a skimmer. If you have not bought the tank yet, you may also consider IOS (Internal Overflow System). You can keep all the filter media and pumps out of sight from the main display.
  10. I place my Tunze 6025 on the left side, pointing diagonally upwards towards the front panel glass, using it as a deflector. Works for me. I get pretty good flow, and no sandstorms. I've used both the K1 and K Nano together in my tank, but didn't get the flow I wanted, so made the switch. So far I'm happy with it.
  11. Might as well, since he did mention about fluctuating Ph some time back. Reverse photo period should somewhat stabilize it.
  12. If you are looking for ready made acrylic boxes, you can consider boxes from Muji. Pretty neat IMO. However, depending on your lighting period for the fuge, like what comy mentioned, you might wanna consider making it all black, maybe except visible at the back of the tank. That way, reverse lighting period won't keep your fishes up with sleepless nights.
  13. Haha... I'm slightly more fortunate. His colleague stayed near my office, so it was easy to deal.
  14. You should really get the LED fans fixed and stick to one type of light set. Been dragging quite awhile ya know...
  15. Hahaha... I just got mine today! I agree with you that post count shouldn't be related to reefing experience. There are plenty of reefers who don't post much, but have tanks that could make your jaw drop and eyes pop with envy.
  16. Hahaha... I have the same problem with comy! If you noticed, I hardly name the zoas when I post the photos. Just add a smiley face, attach the photo and post! Just to share, I used to struggle with zoas not doing well and not opening up nicely, but I've learnt to slow down and not shift them too much. As things start to stabilize, the zoas not only open up well but you can see physical growth. Of course, there will be some zoas that may melt in-spite-of good water perimeters, but that is an entirely different case. I would say slow down from doing too much to your tank and let things run on its own. Continue to keep up with the weekly water changes and maintain good water perimeters, but most importantly, wait patiently for things to stabilize before adding new things. You could also try to dip the zoas in Lugol's solution or Coral RX in case they are indeed affected by diseases or harassed by pests.
  17. Nice! Keen to see how this works out for you.
  18. Getting them to pair up is going to be quite a challenge, let alone breeding them.
  19. Wow... need to see some photos as soon as you can take them!
