  1. Must have rejected their "special" offer lah, that's why they treat you with bad service... kekeke... I've never been to Batam before, but Bintan was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. Love to go back again...
  2. Nice tank! I like the sump concept... one thing I love about this hobby is you could never finish learning.
  3. I think its nicely done. It take time getting used to it, plus a few hiccups here and there, but overall, great job!
  4. Great timing! Just when I was about to post looking for a pellet or mysis feeding mandarin... we reefers are getting spoiled for choice!
  5. Hi Vincent. Could you kindly share more on the specs like optics and stuff?
  6. If you bring stock in bulk, its natural that you can sell it at a lower price. planula only brought in a few sets, so it explains the higher price. Anyways, pls take this off the sponsor's thread.
  7. Wow... your setup looks like a prize giving stand! And your tank is already at the 1st place!
  8. Bro kueytoc's tank is full of hum sup fishes... so much flashing! Here's a banana flasher for you...
  9. Should be superman shiok! If it is a pair of red undies...
  10. Zzzz... you guys never jio when you buy Helfrich goby... tot all the 1.5 ft nano owners stick together... *sob*
  11. Sad to hear about the dart gobies... I used to keep neon tetras, and often found them out of the tank on some days. My dad ever witnessed a lizard going real close to the tank when the lights were switched on in the middle of the night, so we suspected they were the culprits. What are your opinions on the PAR38 so far?
  12. After putting the diffusers back on and shifting the rics to a shady spot, they don't seem to improve much. Still bleached, but at least not melting away. Imagine blue rics are now turquoise in colour! Quite pretty actually, but I think I'd still prefer blue any day. The yuma seems to expand a bit more, but hasn't regained its previous glory. I have a huge contrast in zoa colours with regards to light, so it definitely plays a part in coral health. The zoas from the same colony had completely different shades of colour between the one placed in the shade and the other out in the open, both being on the sand bed. I'll post pics when I have time. JBJ Nano Glo works pretty well. Cheato growth is amazing. I'm exploring the possibilities of using it with a scrubber. Stay tuned!
  13. I've had the chance to watch in interest, a fight between 2 electric blue legged hermits. They were pulling and tugging at each other, while trying their best to retract into their shells. The sounds produced from the knocking of shells caught my attention in the first place. It was quite loud! No casualties in the end, and they went their separate ways...
  14. Crabs have a habit of lifting live rocks in search of food. It could just be one of them doing this, causing the sounds.
  15. Its only possible if you start from scratch and have the discipline to buy only minimal pieces of live rocks. I wanted to do a bonsai scape, but couldn't bear to part with the rocks, and thus, rock pile... I find scaping for nano cube tanks difficult. If its longish, it should be easier.
  16. Nice flame pair! Your tank will be on fire~
  17. Anything to prevent carpet surfers? Helfrich's gonna be very painful if there are no security measures...
  18. You may wanna consider using AlgaeX to help clear the GHA. It was very effective when I used it, and the problem never came back. However, you have to deal with the root cause of the problem to prevent recurrence.
  19. Wah... just bought from me immediately post for trades...?
