  1. Your SPSes are looking good! Can't wait to see them grow and fill up the top. You won't have regrets changing to crystal glass.
  2. Nice and simple... I wish I have the discipline to keep it that way...
  3. Can't wait to see your new setup, bro! Great father & son team!
  4. Beautiful tanks... if the new setup is coming soon, why don't you borrow some big blue tubs to temporary house your stuff till its ready? It'll be a pity to let go of these...
  5. I found this link to the AC Fuge Mod... it was in my bookmarks all along... Rather old thread (2005), so there should be many more improved mods.
  6. It was a pleasure meeting you, Larry! Thanks for the effort in making this SRC Polo T bulk order.
  7. Not sure if there are any ill effects, but it would be safer if you dose them at a larger time interval... prolly one type in the morning and the other in the night.
  8. It looks a bit scary, actually. I wouldn't want to swim close to that. More on the danger of getting entangled. Nice pic though.
  9. Ok, test run! Inception http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S3XzUYd6nrU Edit: I finally did it!
  10. Hmmm... I did exactly what you told me, but still couldn't get it to work...
  11. Not the type you mix for your tank... Salt http://www.youtube.com/watch#!v=FNkTFao5_UI&feature=channel
  12. How often and how much are you dosing? What's the time interval between the 2-part and Purple Up?
  13. If you use 2-part dosing method, you can do away with Purple Up. I personally find the 2-part more effective.
  14. Thanks! I'm not sure of the growth rate and it varies with different zoas / palys, but it increases if you have more to start with. Definitely much faster with LEDs as compared to my previous T5 HOs. Zoa growth > Paly growth for my tank.
  15. No lah... I'm not so mean. Just kidding around!
  16. I thought I read "b oob"... since its coming from AhSiang, there's a tendency to mis-read... We need pics!
  17. Yea, pretty much the same for me. The fishes literally go crazy when cyclop-eeze goes into the tank.
  18. I agree with a few bros that posted earlier on the dry cyclop-eeze going bad even before much is used. I usually transfer the whole can into a air-tight container to make it last longer. So far so good.
  19. Yes, there is a backup battery that allows you to keep your settings. However, the DE Lighting folks will be the best people to share on how long it will last. I'd be interested to know too!
  20. What do you guys usually use cyclop-eeze for? I find it pretty effective to get fishes to feed. However, it may cause algae bloom if not fed in controlled amounts. I DIYed a small feeder "perimeter" with egg crate to keep the food within the area till its all taken up by the fishes, so it doesn't flow to the filter immediately.
  21. Imagine making love under the view of thousands of sea creatures... and they'll be talking to each other, saying, "Ah! So that's how they breed!".
