  1. Dottybacks are generally more aggressive fishes, especially towards ornamental shrimp, so have to watch out for them. This was the reason that I had to choose between my Elongated dottyback vs the sexies.
  2. Thanks! Kinda tough to scape with such a small space, and I still wanted to access the front 3 sides for cleaning. It was fun though.
  3. Glad that they are doing well, bro!
  4. Your yuma looks like it is in bad shape. Either leave it there as it is and hope for the best, or you may consider a small holding tank option. Get a plastic container of at least 1 liter volume, fill it with NSW from a trusted source, run with the smallest HOB filter you can find at the lowest flow setting, and keep it beside your tank just so that it gets some light daily. A drop of iodine would be good.
  5. I know someone who could use some Red Slime Remover.
  6. All I can say is, you're in the wrong place to try quitting! How bout starting a nano?
  7. Maybe its just stressed with all the movement...? Just place it somewhere near where your other yumas are doing well, and see how it fares in a few days.
  8. Lol... perhaps they wind down by looking at their bank account statements, smiling to themselves how much money they have saved without keeping a reef tank...?
  9. Welcome to SRC~ Ask your dad to join SRC too! Get him interested in doing research before purchase. He'll slowly discover the limitations of reef in captivity.
  10. Yes, it is, bro! Was hoping I could re-create the "green carpet" you have in your tank. I'm not too sure about the baby octo though... it may need a better setup to do well.
  11. Thanks guys! Ah... SPS... the next level. Will need to study up a lot more and seek advice with the sifus here!
  12. I think the tank is kinda packed for now. Will let things grow before updating again. Thanks for viewing!
  13. My Elongated Dottyback and Anemone Crab. The Coco worm is probably the only thing other than my GSP that sways with the water movement. Very nice and gentle.
  14. I wished the red mushies could open a little bigger, but they remain tiny. Not too much a complaint though, since space is a constraint for this tank. I've glued the GSP to the bottom of the tank. Hope in due season, it will carpet the bottom.
  15. My attempt at a bonsai aquascape... I got rid of the tonga branches and epoxied a few small pieces of rock together to form this. Pls pardon the "chewing gum".
  16. Lol... even if its a speculated version, it looks pretty impressive!
  17. Reserved! Thanks for your interest!
  18. Xenias can be very captivating when they pulse. Loving my little frag... Have not decided where to stick some of my rics and yumas, so created a mini "candy box"... pardon the dirt!
  19. This should be the Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse...? Got it last week from Iwarna. Wilson, hope yours is doing fine?
  20. Lol... the traditional way, huh? I am very tempted to set up a nano SPS tank... plans are still in the works.
