    No major concern at this point. My place is well ventilated though, and my fan partially cools it.

    Try applying Vaseline. Dismantle the whole hinge and give it a good coat including the screws before fixing it back.

    6-Line VS Elongated Dottyback. Anyone wants to make a guess on the results? :oP

      I'll add a few more factors: 6-line is an established fish in the tank, but slightly shorter when it comes to size as compared to the Elongated Dottyback.

      Lol... the Elongated Dottyback comes up tops! I'm very surprised as well. It was chasing the 6-line, and now it has quite a well nipped tail!

    Not really advisable, bro. Been there, done that, bought the T-shirt... corals and fishes will suffer if you are not careful. If you must, dose bacteria.

    Might as well get a big hang-on filter instead? You can put the 9002 in it! Definitely constant water level. Can modify one too!

    This will work, but you are right. Micro-bubbles will be a PITA.

    It is very challenging for the tank maker to make baffles (yes, these are the shorter glass panels that direct the flow of water. Imagine a maze.) in a 1ft width. My previous tank width is 1.5 ft, and therefore, I can still have approx. 4" for both the filter and the return compartments, leaving the rest for fuge space in the middle (in your case, constant water level for your tunze9002). Btw, Ice-Probe is not powerful enough to cool a 2 ft tank. Tried and tested.

    Put baffles in your IOS to keep your water level constant.
