    I bought mine from AM. It was on offer at that time, so it is slightly less than 7 red notes. I'm not too sure of the current price though. Most people would feel that it is on the high side for a fuge light, completely understandable. I like it for being compact, neat and can be hidden at the back, which fits an IOS tank perfectly.

    Unless you are willing to DIY, the JBJ Nano Glo is your best bet. I've been using it for more than a year, and it is very effective in growing cheato. Just make sure that you randomly rotate it once in awhile (if it is not tumbling freely) so that the entire bunch gets the light.

    It really depends on your budget. If it is a tight one, you might wanna consider Bubble Magus series. Value for money. Get the best skimmer you can afford.

    This can be a little misleading as there were quite a number of reefers that experienced bad quality NSW from LFSs, myself included, so I wouldn't put it as no risk.

    What a pleasant surprise! After several weeks of disappearance, I spotted my velvet wrasse in the sump tank. :o)

      ah when it comes to dissapearing wrasses, always check the overflow, sump, and carpet first :)

      I checked everywhere except the sump... it is so messy so I thought it will be impossible for anything to survive in there. Surprise surprise!

    The number of insects that fall into my tank water is starting to get annoying. Need to look for a decent cover soon.

    It will be good if you can give them a good rinse in salt water occasionally to remove any unwanted dirt, uneaten food, etc that are trapped. Do it in a separate bucket before putting them back in the sump.

    Anyone knows where to get a 4 tubes 24W T5 lightset with 2 individual plugs (for dawn & dusk control) that comes with stand?

      DE does not have stand anymore. Their design concept is meant for placing on top of the hood or hanging above the tank.

    Unless you can find an effective skimmer, with a tank of small volume, you are better off with regular water changes.
