  1. Thank you so much for your compliments! Mine can't even reach the foot of your fortress... My plan is to setup a 2 Ft cube, and your tank is definitely an inspiration to follow. Lots to learn from you, bro!
  2. I have a friend who's interested, but could you kindly take some pictures of your pet as well as some description of its behavior and habits?
  3. What's the length of your lightset and any pictures?
  4. Wow... the black with red spots is amazing...
  5. Nice setup! Looks kinda cosy too... just don't slam the door on your fishes, ya? And you have a nice floor to watch out for. Heh...
  6. Nice! Would love to get some frags from you when it grows...
  7. Looking good! Just manage your water top offs well to prevent too much fluctuation in salinity. Happy reefing!
  8. Hahaha... thanks for your compliments! Very satisfied at the skimmer's performance so far. Perhaps, also one of the factors that my sand bed is kept cleaned. I think the re-positioning of the Hydor Nano and the re-scape helped in the overall flow as well. Less build up of detritus. I was thinking of converting the other, now defunct skimmer, into a denitrator. Time to put on my thinking cap!
  9. Haha... we're all so used to calling it Blue tang, and not forgetting the photo has both Regals in it.
  10. Top down shot of my mushies. I was surprised that the blues look completely different from the top. If you refer to page 6, its more purplish through the glass, but blue from the top. I'm loving it!
  11. Top down pics: still trying to get a good shot of the green centered pink zoas. The bleached green ricordia is taking a loooooong time to recover... I wonder will it ever regain its previous glory. Sigh...
  12. Nothing much to update so far... just share a pic of a few days worth of skimmate. I wonder if anyone experiences this, but it seems my tank produces lots of slime. Its a must for me to change the filter wool every week or else it'll get choked.
  13. Can't agree more. Point no. 5 is the most important, and should be dealt with immediately for your current livestock (esp. for your tangs), and for future inhabitants. No offense, but we really don't wanna see you having to post photos of your dead fishes again.
  14. Wow... can become a seat cushion...
  15. "ROUND 1! FIGHT!" *plays Street Fighter music in the background* Very nice maroons, btw. I only love them in their super red stages. Do be patient in introducing them together. They are known to be aggressive fellas.
  16. How bout harvesting and give it away to anyone who wants to seed their tank with it?
  17. Will be trying this with my red mushies when I'm free. Got a few petals to mess around with.
  18. I'm blind!! Argh!! Too bright... B) B)
  19. Tot you've only just started not long ago...? Record breaking decomm? So new new can keep the sunnies now... Do plan further ahead before you start another one. Count your cost first, especially maintenance.
  20. I love the "traffic lights" fishes... your blue & yellow tangs, and your flame angel. The intense colours really brings up the contrast. Simple and beautiful.
