  1. Eh... you edited your post! No fair... And I thought I was going to have a taker for the orange ones.
  2. Yes, go for it! They are together quite often, so I really hope they pair up!
  3. I love these guys! They are getting bolder and swimming more actively in the front. I'm pleased that they have chose the front rock as their hiding place. Easy for me to enjoy viewing them.
  4. Thank you all for your responses and interest! Left with the orange yumas and plain red zoas #5. The rest are reserved and pending for collection.
  5. Its tougher for us keeping nano tanks, so every little effort to reduce excess waste helps!
  6. I didn't! That's why I thought of making the hole bigger!
  7. And I thought I was careful not to release extra source of nitrates... your method is even better!
  8. Oh... I usually drain off the "sauce" before feeding... will let you know.
  9. That's interesting... I do notice whenever I get new shrimps, they will molt within days. Prolly its their nature to change "clothes" to better suit a new environment?
  10. I don't think so, and certainly hope not! I'll keep you posted. I don't think I'll be target feeding anything smaller than mysis, so it only makes sense if the Sea Squirt works for it.
  11. Hmmm... that's not what I want. I'll prolly try widening the hole a little.
  12. It will be very near to the water surface, so I was thinking of an extra protection. The Hydor Flo and K1 in my tank really agitates the water surface, so I'm a bit concerned.
  13. Aiyo... even if I'm paid to touch I still won't do it. I still want my fingers, ya know? I want to try out the LED lights first before I embark on the project, so its not happening anytime soon. How's yours doing? Boring phase will be over soon, so lun ah! Videos, bro, videos! We all want to see the mantis in action!
  14. Btw, I find that the hole in the Sea Squirt is a little too small for mysis shrimp. Felt like enlarging it a little, but reluctant to damage the thing...
  15. What are you waiting for? I'm sure you'll like it. Sigh... still haven't thought of a good way to acclimatize my corals to the new lights. Any suggestions? Also, I am a bit concerned about splash and salt creep. My water surface is constantly agitated. Was thinking of an acrylic sheet as a splash guard.
  16. Hmmm... what kind of school project...? Hopefully its not biology class or something... What are your plans for the jelly fish after the project is over?
  17. I think you'd be the best person to tell the difference as you have experience with both fans. To me, the fans are hardly audible in my office environment, which is a major plus. My skimmer and return pumps are actually much louder...
  18. Hmmm... yours is under actinic, so I can't be 100% sure, but looks like it. You need to share with us on your husbandry and placement to have such growth! Yup! This is the one.
  19. I have not set it up yet... a little worried about my corals acclimatizing to the light change... still trying to figure out how to do this properly.
