  1. Post links... Poker Face, Paparazzi and Disco Heaven are few of my favs.
  2. Its gonna be exciting for you for these few weeks... I enjoyed the initial setup part of my tank.
  3. It would be best to test out equipment when both parties are present to avoid problems such as this. Perhaps you could try the suggestion by Tench1 to see if it works?
  4. Yay for a good boss! My boss was tempted to go into marine after looking at my tank, but decided against it due to the maintenance involved. Koi ponds still suit him best!
  5. Heh... there are blinds in the office, so the effect is still there during the day time! Its a shame that the 60W version doesn't come complete with the timers to control the white LEDs and the blues. If they ever develop G3 versions, these are some of the things to consider, plus dim-able capabilities, would make this light set rock!
  6. Eh, bro... buying so many new stuff before your trip? A bit risky when you're not around to monitor their progress and adaptability to your tank.
  7. Do keep us updated on the "fusion" progress! It'll be very interesting to see the outcome.
  8. Bro, you have to deal with them fast... they spread like wild fire. Be prepared to dip almost everything in Coral RX or Lugol's solution to get rid of them. There's another alternative suggested by one of the reefers: add Salifert's Flatworm Exit direct to the tank. This is to prevent the hassle of removing the live rocks and such. Do it at your own risk though... read the zoas pest thread for more details.
  9. Nice review, bro! I'll have to agree on the purplish tinge. Missed the "blueness" of my T5s, but I'm kinda used to the LEDs already. Its prolly common knowledge, but I find the shimmer effect at its max when all the ambient lights are off.
  10. Do pass my number to your folks at home so that in the event they suspect something is wrong with your tank, I'll be there in a jiffy to clear the corals for you. Wrasses can go to dachkie. Have a safe trip and do post pics of your adventure when you're back! Slum dog!
  11. LiveAquaria.com - Nano fish This is just a reference. Pls kindly do more research before making any purchases.
  12. What are your plans for lighting and flow? It can go way upscale for such a long tank.
  13. Aiyo... you not only TCSS king, but arrow king as well! Jacky should start some sort of business... marine services or something.
  14. It is quite a challenge to capture accurate colours under LEDs... requires some form of post-editing.
  15. Bro! Been some time... how have you been? Beautiful prata... upz for you!
  16. It should go like this: To set time, press the "clock" button (hold it), followed by setting the "week", "hour" & "minute". Release it to confirm timing. To program, press the "program" button (I think once should be enough), followed by setting the timings you want. Pressing the "week" button allows you to choose days (mon to sun), "hour" & "minute" buttons to set time. The program sequence should be ON followed by OFF. Also, take note of the channel selection "CH 1-3" button to select the position you want to program. After you're done, leaving it on its own should store the programming. Otherwise, press the "clock" button. Auto mode should be selected for activation of your program timings. You should be able to test it out at a short timing interval to see if it works. Disclaimer: I have this set of digital timer, just can't remember the exact details as I haven't been touching it for quite some time. The above should work for you though.
  17. Yeah, this skimmer is rated for a much larger volume. I just thought it looked pretty cool with several things combined.
  18. Wow... technology is making reefing a lot easier now! Looking forward to it reaching our shores...
  19. Its a good idea. More professional, similar to online frag shops. Saves a lot of time to travel just to find out that it isn't something that you want. However, I'm afraid most of us don't know much about the specs to give an accurate description!
  20. Uploaded mine yesterday. 2 frags of US zoas - Pink center with green skirt. PM if interested.
