  1. Yea, definitely switching places (betta box) with the purple firefish. Let my Helfrichi establish his territory before releasing it again.
  2. Thanks guys! I felt the same way too, but as you venture deeper into this hobby, you will find ways and means to justify for the costs...
  3. Haha... chaetos from local reefers, so no idea where they are from! Yes, it is indeed risky without some form of cover. Still thinking what I should use...
  4. Very nice specimen... not jumpy at all. Started feeding on pellets already. I'm a bit concerned of my purple firefish, so that's why the Helfrichi is in the betta box. So far, haven't witnessed any aggression from it yet, so keeping my fingers crossed.
  5. Saw this Helfrich at Reborn today. I've always been resistant in getting one due to the price, but couldn't resist it when I saw this beauty. Sigh... the heart is willing, but the flesh is weak...
  6. Reborn Caribbean shipment has arrived. Lots of Royal Grammas still acclimatizing when I was there. Plenty of neon gobies. There is also a beautiful pair of pearly jawfish.
  7. AM operates 11am to 11pm according to their website.
  8. Such a blazing hot weather! But fun with you guys~ Ray: Thanks for the lunch! HW33: Thanks for the drink! Enriam & MOssrope: Very nice meeting you! Jacky: Thanks for being such a good sport with all that frag tank teasing!
  9. TM Pro Reef Salt (full bucket, unopened) - $100 Dymax LS10 skimmer - $10 Collection place Serangoon North Ave 5. Sms @ 9236 4936.
  10. Well, in today's world, almost anything can be fixed... no surprise here. Is this still a beauty contest...? Not that Singapore has a lack of beautiful women, heck, there are plenty out in the streets! I think its more of a bravery contest on who has the courage to stand up and face all that criticism.
  11. Ok... but that's mainly for sea cucumbers, right? I meant overall clean up crew. Its a little frustrating to see snail trails on the tank glass = "I'm doing my job, but I'm only going to eat where I WANT to eat".
  12. Anyone has any idea how much CUC is sufficient to keep the glass / sandbed / LRs clean without starving them? Like 1 snail per litre type of estimate? Sometimes, they may be able to do a job, but not enough of them around to keep the tank clean to our liking...?
  13. Perhaps giving her LoVe will help reduce sofa nights? You should have just gone for an ADA tank... once your daughter's interest wears off, it'll turn into your frag tank! Come on, its a matter of time!
  14. IMO, choose either a compact or a DSLR. You will be lugging the weight of a prosumer, yet can't quite reach the standard of DSLR quality...
  15. I second this! Its a privilege to get to know him.
  16. So how are you planning to keep things cool? Weather's pretty hot. Hope you live past your wifey's wrath...
