  1. Bro, do you have current photos of your hammers?
  2. I just bought an Elongated Dottyback yesterday from Ah Beng's. Its a very sweet looking fish! Very actively exploring the tank now. With its streamline body, it can easily maneuver around small crevices and rock work. I'm loving it! If anyone has more information on this fish, pls kindly share? Elongated Dottyback
  3. Haha... probably. Maybe I just wanted a 1 Ft cube so much that I was hoping the IQ5 was it.
  4. Sigh... I'd like to think its a pink yuma, but it looks more & more orangey...

Iwarna's yumas are more orangey. I did pick one up from ah beng's that's closer to pink. :o)

It was reasonable. Slightly less than a blue note.

  5. If you're talking about your current tank, it is definitely ok with an MP10. In fact, I would recommend it, since you're keeping SPS.
  6. Beautiful wrasses... I wish I have a bigger tank to house more of them.
  7. It really depends on what you want to keep, but it should be fine for most cases. You can adjust the flow anyways.
  8. How many do you have in your tank? Or maybe I should ask, how many do you need to keep your sand bed shifted and clean? If you have like 50 inside, you can start Left 4 Dead marine version.
  9. That prolly explains why even captive bred clowns still like to host on corals...
  10. I wonder do they still feed on pods now that they grow up feeding on prepared food?
  11. Thanks bro! No modifications were done to the lights. I simply bought the marine version. It has a slight blue hue to it, making it more pleasing to the eye for a marine setup. I'm also looking forward to the IQ5, rated at 13 liters (IQ3 = 6.5 liters). I'm guessing it should approx. be the size of a 1ft cube? Also, I think it comes with a better and programmable LED lights. According to Dymax personnel, it should be released around the 4th quarter this year.
  12. Thanks bro! I'm not sure if the growth rate of yumas are as fast compared to mushrooms, but I certainly hope they'll fill the tank.
  13. Haha... I'm tempted to... for the first option, that is. I'll quit when I lose interest, but for now, its still going strong.
  14. Bro, I'm keen. Awaiting for your pics for confirmation. Thanks!

    WTT Zoas

US zoas, pink face green skirt. The first frag is really a small colony, around 50+ polyps. The other has around 15 polyps. Open to trade with other types of corals of similar value as well. Pls kindly post clear photos under white light if interested to trade. Thanks!
  16. Eh bro... tmr cannot lah... meeting Terryz_. Fridays also reserved for gf. How's sat afternoon for ya? Sms me to arrange?
  17. Bro, 4 ft shallow tank! Mai tu liao! Btw, I just collected the scalpel... hohoho.
  18. Buy online, get them to ship to you and you can hand carry back lor!
  19. Yes, I have one, so I'll be using that. Its a sat morning, so kinda irritated that I have to wake up early and go back to office just to start the pump...
  20. Oh well... I'm sure it'll be available again.
  21. Haha... I bought those plastic tongs. Very handy, but I wished it was a tad bit longer. I tried zoas, but the stock LED lights are definitely not strong enough. My yumas didn't do very well with strong lights in my office tank (ie LEDs & T5 HOs) so I figured they should do better in the IQ3. I guess it turns out well so far!
  22. All I can say is the IQ3 is definitely not user friendly for reefers with big hands! Such a tight squeeze in the filter compartment. Also, once your hand goes in, water comes out, so you immediately transform it into a zero edge tank! For the IQ3, its more like the other way round, selecting the right stuff to put into the tank, rather than the usual setting up of equipment to cater to the stuff you want. Give me more suggestions on fish options! I have 2 sexy shrimp and an anemone crab. Might swap it for a pom pom if I ever come across one.
  23. I spotted a tiny baby next to the blue yuma... excited to see how this would look like when it gets bigger.
