  1. If you're on a budget, you might wanna consider Bubble Magus skimmers. Lots of good reviews for its efficiency vs price. You can contact our sponsor, DE Lightings (Dr Evil), as they are one of BM's local distributors for a recommendation of a skimmer to suit your needs.
  2. I'm getting poisoned... must... resist... clicking to view... this thread...
  3. Haha... yes, mostly rounded. Imagine a tank totally filled with those... I'll call it a Pink Panther tank!
  4. Well... for aesthetic purposes, you don't have to hang your hydrometer in the tank, ya know? The G1 60W Maxspect's coverage is not so widespread, so your clams might be a little deprived. Perhaps you might wanna consider lifting it slightly higher to cover a wider angle.
  5. GO used to sell nicely shaped rocks fully covered in coralline. I'm not sure if they still have them though...
  6. Finally re-scaped my IQ3. Looks less cultered now. :o)

  7. Glad to hear that. Looking forward to your updates!
  8. I didn't know it was a 3 Ft tank till I saw 39W tubes... You wouldn't regret the upgrade. I'm sure your corals will love it.
  9. Bro, I used to have a similar scape that you have right now. You can refer to the first page of my office nano 3 tank thread. IMO, I find it hard to place corals, and there were too many shadows and too little open space for fishes to swim around. Perhaps you can try to visualize your scape with corals on it? Haha... I know its kinda hard, I struggle with this myself (not very artistically inclined), but it helps to calibrate our thoughts that this is not the final outcome of the scape.
  10. Bro, the green tint on your crystal glass seems a bit... too green. I might be wrong, but I thought its usually kinda grey or dark when viewed at an angle? Are you able to see clearly to the other end when you look from the edges of your glass panel?
  11. Haha... I think I'll stick with LFSes with good reputation!
  12. Bro, I'm interested in the first frag, but same thing, will need to frag again and wait for it to stabilize before preparing for trade. Also, to avoid misunderstanding, I'll prolly take new pics in better white balance to show photos closer to the real thing.
  13. I still have some to frag out if you're still interested, but I would prefer to wait for it to stabilize before putting up for trade. Do you have other zoas then the ones you posted?
  14. Oh my... kinda dangerous to post photos or videos of rare fishes if you don't know the source? I wonder what are the implications if you bought a fish obtained by illegal means.

  16. No worries. It still looks a bit stressed, but slowly opening up. I'll transfer it back to my office tank tmr and see how it goes. Nice meeting you, bro!
  17. Lol... each of us have our different tastes. Plenty of fish in the ocean for everyone!
  18. Thanks! Both Wilson & I got 1 each. We couldn't resist.
  19. Mine would look more reddish pink in-person. Anyways, I have takers for both frags, so thanks for your interest!
  20. Erm... wouldn't we be trading something similar...? I'm looking for something different.
  21. Yes it is. How's the frag doing for ya?
  22. I think like most dottybacks, it is a little aggressive. I saw it disturbing the sexies. Well, I wouldn't mind keeping it in place of the shrimps though...
