  1. Eh... can you guys pass the blue eye gobies to me? I'll take care of them in my IQ3.
  2. Glad you like my masterpiece, Lemon! I was using this :
  3. Why you should dose kalk slowly
  4. All collected by friendly reefers! Till next harvest time!
  5. Bro, auntie usually has a chopper (kinda rusty by now) and a hammer near the packing counter. You can borrow it the next time to do your own fragging on the spot. Place the blade on the rock, swing down with the hammer on top of the blade, ta da!
  6. New harvest! 3x tau huei tubs of cheato to give away. Collection at Serangoon North Ave 5, Friday, 13th Aug, from 9.30am till 5:30pm (lunchtime collection is preferred). I can be reached @ 9236 4936.
  7. Hmmm... what are the possibilities of captive breeding harlequin shrimps? If they can train mandarins to eat pellets, imagine harlequins too! The main deterrence of keeping them is their unique feeding habits. I'm sure demand will soar for pellet feeding harlequins.
  8. Bro, gotta visit you some time to see your tank in person. Very nice stuff!
  9. Lol... looks like a freaking jet engine. I'll be interested to know, other than our LFSs & public aquariums, on who would build a tank big enough to use this.
  10. Very interesting setup! Is your fuge and sump on the sides of your main tank? Care to show more photos on your filtration system? You might wanna consider getting the mods to shift your tank thread to the Nano section.
  11. Hmmm... will they be interested in a dead pocci? Where can I get such dead SPS?
  12. Wow... the blue seafan is huge! And so is the UV sterilizer... heh.
  13. Hope yours is doing well... sigh... mine was active and feeding well, but this is so sudden.
  14. Took the chance to do a thorough cleaning of the tank. Added 2 Panda gobies. They are so ridiculously tiny, they can get lost in an IQ3! Also added 2 small heads of super suns. They were fragged from the main colony. This is the first time I'm keeping super suns, and I didn't realize their skeleton was so brittle. When I tried to frag with a clipper, it split the tube in halve! Lost 2 heads because of my carelessness. Plenty to learn still in this hobby.
  15. Some sad news... my Elongated Dottyback died. I went out in the afternoon on sat, and came back to find my tank covered with cobweb like strands. Within a short span of 6 hrs, my tank was on the verge of crashing. All the yumas were stressed and closed, GSP retracted, etc. The dottyback was hiding at the bottom of the tank, breathing heavily. I immediately siphoned all the sticky strands and did a water change. Corals looked better, but the dottyback was still stressed. The circle around the eyes are supposed to be shiny golden, but it turned black, as shown in the photo. The next day, it died. I'm not sure what caused this, but I suspect a temperature swing. Little one...
  16. Bro, any updates on your nano goby tanks?
  17. It'll cost even more if all four decided to go into reefing!
  18. Alas... your offer came a little late. I just bought it from a very very nice reefer today. Thanks for the offer! Thread closed.
