  1. Lol... you need to invest in the electric light lifter!
  2. Black with blue edges is fine for me. They make the 黑白無常 in my tank...
  3. I like the blue edges... looks really good under LEDs. Its currently under scrutiny by the multi-color.
  4. Lol... I'm so bad at ID... I think its closer to Centropyge flavicauda instead. Here's a pic from the net that most resembles what I have.
  5. Its doing well, currently the dominant angel of two in the tank. The other, if I didn't ID wrongly, should be a Centropyge multispinis. Haven't seen it feed yet, but it is only the 2nd day, so I'll continue to monitor. Curious little fella though.
  6. BMQQ is really for nano tanks. Very underpowered for your use. You might want to upgrade to something more suitable for your tank size.
  7. Soaking mysis in prazi had a interesting effect on my angels. They bite, but spit it out. Probably not used to the "flavor"? Other fishes have no issues. Clownfishes are just pigs...
  8. You need the space for the top down view.
  9. Nice read. I always thought gonios were impossible to keep alive for long periods of time, but looks like things have changed.
  10. I believe he will DIY. You should see his algae scrubber.
  11. Fluctuation in salinity is the issue here. Why not invest in an auto top off device? Just make sure that your fresh water reservoir has sufficient capacity to last you a week, so that you only have to top up weekly. It also helps to keep the salinity at a stable rate.
  12. Lol... Great start. Looking forward to more pic updates!
  13. Nice... pls share more info on your DIY lighting and tank build.
  14. Love the hooded wrasse! Told ya you need a DSLR! I'll be saving up for one too...
  15. Desi, you may need to install a fan and set it with a digital timer for weekends. If you switch off the AC, temperatures can go up to 34oC, depending if your office face any direct sunlight or not. That's how it is for my office tank.
  16. Your reef tank looks beautiful from the photo.
  17. Anyone can recommend a good .mp4 converter that is free? I'm a bit sua ku, but have never installed any videos on mobile devices...

Thanks man! Works like a charm.

  18. Sweet... I wish I had such an eye for detail.
  19. I pick my nose before dipping them in the water... hey! Its fert for the corals! I kid... just rinse with normal tap water.
  20. Woah... vicious appetite. Or maybe the seahare died of bloatedness from all that algae and the elegance was just helping itself...?
  21. Bro, I think you need to invest in one. It is a pity not being able to capture the true beauty of your reef. I know it is close to impossible for many of us, but if you can put your reef shopping on hold for a couple of months, you just might be able to save up for an entry level DSLR.
  22. Depending on model and pump, there might be washers at both ends of the shaft. Check to see if they are in place or have shifted position.
