What I meant is to use 1 or 2 hydor nano or K1 without controller. You can direct the flow either upwards or against the glass so as not to have a too direct flow. Many people have succeeded in this kind of setups as opposed to having controllers.

Well... the price I paid for it is already quite high for some, and I heard feedback that they were quoted even higher, so I would not recommend going back to this tank maker. It is better to get a quote elsewhere.

I've seen Petmart with the Dymax version as well. IME with the Hydor Flo Deflectors, it will get stuck after some time, so unless you are willing to keep maintaining it, otherwise, you might be better off without it.

Erm... let me try. When you press the Channel buttons (CH 1 or 2), is there a cursor or an arrow that points to either On, Auto or Off (Shown at the bottom of your display)? You need to be in auto mode in order for the switches to follow your programming. If you want to switch it on, shift the arrow till it points to On. If your equipment doesn't work when On is selected, you will need to get it replaced. I do not have good experience with Soundtech digital timers (I used to have those single plug ones, which doesn't work after some time), so I would advise to change to other items instead.

What is the size of your tank? You might be better off with a Hydor Nano...

I apologize for the poor photos as getting the correct white balance under LEDs is rather difficult. However, you can tell from the photos that it is pretty luminous. The frags are placed on an egg crate, so you can gauge the size of the frag from there. All 3 frags are with the mat only, not attached to anything, so it is easy to glue it on live rocks or even the back wall of the tank. I also have a pair of Percula X Ocellaris clownfish pair for sale. From local breeder, bought from Iwarna. Slightly bigger than 1". Selling @ $15 (same price I bought, except now its slightly bigger). No photos as I can't take good shots of them. Unfortunately, I'm not good at telling fishes apart, so it looks like common clowns to me. Perhaps when they grow bigger, they might show traits of both breeds. No obligations, view before sales.

Good start! Looks like lots of thought and research have been put into this project. I'm looking forward to your lighting pics as I'm also tempted to upgrade the Maxspect G2 to Cree LEDs. Do share the LED configuration (placement & white / blue ratio).
